<--- it's time to get up in the MORNING

<---agrees with Michele that Tigger has WAY to much energy for someone who was out dancing last night
<---tells Tigger that friend's DD is teaching English to Thai kids in a Christian school a couple hours away from Bangkok
<---has talked with DH about visiting her if and when DS is in a residence, but gets the hibby-gibbies at the thought of the flight
<---has been told that it is a lovely country, and a very inexpensive vacation, once you get there

<--- advises everyone that there has been no stenciling yet today
<--- also thinks TiGGeR is awfully bouncy after being out last night
<--- says she supposes that's a normal state for a bouncy TiGGeR:p
<--- can't imagine being stuck on a plane for 18 hours, even in first class
<--- hopes Nancy manages to get her bro appeased about the birthday thing
<--- tells Michele that cutting her SO's hair only involves shaving it with clippers, nothing fancy
<--- thinks Robin better put some more clothes on if she's gonna be skipping around here, because it's lightly snowing:p
<--- tells Michele that the museum had rooms set up with typical furnishings from different eras - Victorian, Edwardian, Baroque, Roccoco, Art Deco, etc.

ETA:

<--- went to a Whole Foods market yesterday
<--- was astounded at the prices - $8.50 for a package of dog biscuits???

<---writes note to self...on next trip to Canada she must go to the ROM <---bookmarks the ROM website
<---has never been to a Whole Foods and wonders what they are like
<---says we don't have one in her area
<---has been to Trader Joe's and doesn't think they have anything on her regular grocery store, but then her regular grocery store is phenomenal
<---does like to buy nuts and raisins at Trader Joe's, though

Michele

<---looks out the window and says Crap
<---is snowing lightly here too
<---puts on gloves and hat and tosses brown flowers in a corner
<---doesn't have a Whole Foods around here
<---adds you should check out the grocery prices in the Caribbean
<---1/2 pt of blueberries, $2.50 here, $6 there
<---thinks maybe <---could lose weight there because <---couldn't afford to eat
<---adds that rum is cheap though
<---was told that cigarettes are cheaper there than home too, because of no taxes
<---would be a skinny drunk with emphysema and a nice tan

<--tells Robin that it would take many years to develop emphysema and in the meantime she could be skinny, drunken, carefree and tanned, which might be fun :+
<--would rather have lots of great food than be any of those things
<--LOVES Whole Foods and is jealous of anyone who shops there
<--says city living does have its down sides and not having a Whole Foods is definitely one of them :(
<--will be visiting Mom's Whole Foods a lot this week in NJ
<--tells Robin that blueberries are $6/pint here at this time of year, though a lot less in the summer
<--only buys blueberries in the summer
<--wonders if the snow is on its way here?
-Nancy
ETA: LOVES Michele's smilie face of Robin! :7

<---edited to remove bad smilie:eek:
<---says blueberries are MUCH cheaper in season
<---also like to buy the frozen wild blueberries and eat them in the frozen state
<---says they taste like blueberry candy

Michele

<---tells Nancy the cost of blueberries in another good reason to live in the country
<---buys blueberries, strawberries and raspberries any time they are under $5/pint, because <---is worth it
<---agrees with Nancy about the food thing though
<---thinks a good meal, prepared by someone else, is high on the list of desirable things
<---has considered and realized that <---could never actually live on St John
<---would go stir crazy on a small island
<---believes that Change is <---'s middle name
<---likes the Mama's and the Papa's song that says "If you love her, then you must take her somewhere where she's never been before"

<--says yup, Robin, St. John would start to drive you crazy after a few months
<--also enjoys change, but can't be bothered with all the details of planning for and packing for a trip, so hates vacations
<--but would LOVE to move somewhere new every few years!
<--loves fresh, new, empty apartments and throwing away old stuff
<--has a fetish about everything always being new and fresh and shiney
<--says DH is always afraid <-- is going to toss him out with the other old stuff }( :p :+
-Nancy

<-- is here to say good morning!
<-- accidentally slept and hour and a half late today
<-- woke up once and oops went back to sleep
<-- had a nightmare
<-- isn't okay with that yet
<-- reports the paper is done, but <-- needs to edit it today just in case
<-- also reports that that paper is due on Wednesday
<-- has DH here today until he goes into work at 1:30
<-- is going to go back to bed and read cases next to his sleeping snoring form
<-- }(
<-- might go to breakfast with DH and then to the produce market
<-- WILL GO to that market today!!!
<-- is off to learn about discovery and disclosure for civil procedure
<-- probably shouldn't do that in bed, but <-- cannot spend another moment on this couch, after yesterday!

<---passes the hat to collect $ to get Amy a desk, for crying out loud
<---wonders if Amy ever clarified what CON law is
<---conniving lawyer maybe?
<---conceited lawyer?
<---convient lawyer?
<---inquiring minds want to know
<---agrees with Nancy about shiney and new
<---doesn't care much for antiques, not that they aren't lovely in someone else's home, but <---would much rather have a brand new reproduction with no scratch marks
<---is off to discover and disclose what is in urine specimen sitting on counter
<---wouldn't want to do that in bed or on the couch!

<--tells Robin that CON Law is just federal Constitutional Law
<--totally agrees with Robin about antiques
<--knows now for sure that Robin and <-- are long lost sisters
<--we'll let Mom have it this week for holding out on <--
<--needs to get showered and get to the office
-Nancy

<-- apologizes to Robin; it's Constitutional Law (you know, that pesky document that shapes our country? That thing. We study that thing for a YEAR. Involves what states can and can't do to each other- like tax things coming in or out, what governments can and can't do to each other- like make laws that treat people differently based on race or sex, etc. Made for an idealistic youngun, which <-- is not. Would have loved it at 22, but at almost 29, it's too much talk and no getting anywhere.)
<-- wonders what makes pee green
<-- isn't sure <-- wants to know, but asks anyway: if it's green, is it automatically something specific (does pee only turn green if X is involved?)
<-- assures Robin we have a desk, it's just full of crap and it is in the darkest room of our house and when <-- reads, <-- reads in bed or on the couch; when writing, it isn't generally on the desk:p

<---thanks both Amy and Nancy for the clarification
<---thinks learning about the constitution (in plain English) would be a good thing to do
<---is too lazy to do that on own, and probably forgot anything taught to <---in high school
<---tells Amy that green pee is usually due to some kind of medicines or dyes - chlorophyll in mouth deoderants can color the urine green says the official book (Urine for Dummys)

<---says HEL---LO! to all you fit chicks!
<---has been busy with work, Dad etc. He's doing AWESOME by the way
<---doesn't know what was happened with him but they gave him 2 pts. of blood and he's like a new man!
<---is soooooo bummed <---can't go on the GTG; 4-22, that's <---and DH's anniversary
<---thinks under circumstances of late <---should spend it home with him, after a fancy restaurant of course!
<---missed you guys so!
<---is off to workout; doing RS and GS legs today
<---promises to come back and contribute later! LOL
<---wonders if Nancy is getting ready for our big party Friday
<---says see ya'll in a bit!

www.PictureTrail.com/kkali

<--- is back to say hi!
<--- went out with Sophie and did all her errands
<--- says Sophie isn't feeling so grand today
<--- thinks perhaps the mania of March Break week camp has now caught up with her
<--- thinks it will be a quiet afternoon
<--- may get around to doing some decorating in Sophie's room - Sophie decided on dolphins and swirls for her wall:)
<--- will definitely take pictures:p
<--- doesn't want to think about green pee, thank you very much
<--- is shortly going to take Mr. Prancy Pants out for a hike on the trails

<--is here at the office
<--tells Kali that she CAN'T WAIT for the big celebration!! :D
<--in part because that means this week will be OVER
<--loves dolphins and thinks that Miss Sophie has excellent taste
<--is not in the mood to work today, so will just input her time and go to Bloomingdale's }( }(
-Nancy

<---likes Sophie's idea of dolphins and swirls
<---DD redecorated her room last summer in surfer chick decor
<---glad to hear from long lost Kali
<---sorry she won't be at GTG, but glad she and DH are doing well
<---now need to hear from other long lost regulars
<---thinks they don't know how this mother hen worries
<---cluck, cluck, cluck

<---just returned from brunch and is in need of a nap
<---ate way too much but it was so delicious
<---stopped at the grocery store and thinks grocery shopping with DH in tow is quite a difficult task
<---would think she had a fatal disease if her pee was green
<---LOVES antiques, but likes to mix them with repros. <---thinks too many antiques can make your house look, well, old and tired
<---tells Sophie she has incredible taste in decorating and she can't wait to see the dolphins and swirls:)
<---hopes Sophie is feeling better soon
<---is thinking of taking her Mr. Prancy Pants...er...DH for a walk
<---is glad Miss Piddly Poo is about done with her paper and is sure the edits won't take long
<---cannot believe Nance hates vacations and would rather move every few years:eek:
<---would like to find her dream house and stay there forever, except for the several trips she would like to take
<---says OMG she almost forgot to say hello to Kali
<---Loves Kali's avatar and sya yes ma'am, she can definitely see your muscles!
<---is so glad to hear that Kali's dad is better and says it's amazing what a blood transfusion can do for a person!

Michele
