<-- was sad that DH didn't win the beef competition yesterday!
<-- thought he did get a ton of compliments, though, which was good. He made flank steak and purple potatoes and artichokes. So, it was a piece of flank steak wrapped around mashed artichoke hearts mixed with gorgonzola cheese, and tied up with a chive. Served on top of a purple potato, and served in an artichoke leaf. Cool, but <-- is super done tying chives!!!
<-- loved to watch him cook, and he did get a little stressed, which <-- loves to see because he never stresses!!! :7
<-- is glad he's working today because he had Fri, Sat, & Sun off and we were together the whole time so <-- didn't get naps like a usual weekend :p
<-- is going to head back to the nap <-- means book now :7

<---also visited an ex-co-worker who was a one time best friend and set up a lunch date (she is still a good friend, but it's been difficult to get together since she quit the lab and started her own business)
<---doesn't have time to catch up with everyone now, but will hopefully be around tomarrow
<---wonders if DH is making me a cake?
<---will be celebrating birthday this weekend when DH and <---go to the Finger Lakes and stop at some of favorite wineries for summertime supply
