Leanne - TAKE THE WHOLE SUMMER OFF!!! You totally deserve it! And trust me, you don't want to get me started on what's in my head. The term "Pandora's Box" springs to mind

Hey girls. Took the afternoon off so had to check things out of course.

Leanne-- My ticket was $775 and I bought it at the beginning of May. I kept holding off thinking it would go down in price, well in one day it jumped $500, so I had to take a different flight back, otherwise I would have had to pay $1200, and rethink RT. Sucks big time. But used economic stimulus money.

Shelley - Yes FBI - Don't be scared, it's nothing like on TV, trust me. That is one of our standing jokes at work, we always say, "just like on TV." NOT. BTW nothing shocks me.

I do CC on my treadmill. I usually work out at home in the morning and then at lunch I go to the gym just to get out of the office and usually do 30 minutes on a cardio machine. Although this week I have not gone to the gym at all.

Allison - Sounds like things went well last night. Good for you. It would suck to be w/o AC. It was 95 degrees here yesterday.

Breckgirl - Glad you got in for the mammo, they say, sometimes ultrasound works better than mammogram. Just a thought. I am kind of a no doctor all natural way sort of person, but don't begrudge anyone for going the doctor route.

Lanie - I need to know how you like your Rykas. I am thinking about getting a new pair, so let us know what kind they are and how they work.

Deb - I see you are from Buffalo. An agent in the office, who we had the going away party for is from Buffalo, He was a cop in West Seneca before he came into the FBI. He and his wife lived here for six years and just moved the Columbia FBI office. They were both born and raised in Buffalo.

Tneah - you are soooo funny. We think a lot alike.

Robin - sorry about Tim's grandmother.

Shannon - I have all the CCs and love them all. I did not get the pump one though. I heart Coach Sean.

Hooray! DH helped me find a cheap flight for the RT and I just bought it! Of course, I'll have to wait at the airport on Sunday for a gazillion hours and get home really late -- but it's cheaper than what I've seen! Yippee! Now I won't have to walk to NJ from San Diego!

Peggie -- Ug! I'm so sorry that your ticket was so expensive! Isn't it just nuts at how expensive tickets are?! Oh, I love the new smiley your posted! Too funny! And how funny about comparing your work to TV shows.

Shelley -- But Pandora's Box can be a good thing! ;-) Thanks for the encouragement about summer plans. I might just be a lazy bum . . . .

Tneah -- Are you almost here yet, babe, so we can meet and do fun stuff??

We're about to head to Costco so we can pick up some stuff for the July 4 BBQ at our house. And I'm in a super good mood, too, b/c I just helped BIL with his resume (I taught business communication for five years), and he called to make an appointment to go into the temp agency on Monday! Yippee!

Peggie, LOL about the TV image of the FBI. We have similar issues with all the forensic lab shows. One of our current students was sure it would be just like CSI.

Shelley – whatsamatter with your head bone? I know how Pandora’s box-y my head can be sometimes, so I am here (and we are all here) if you want to spill. Sorry you’re having a tough go at things now. My mind can race like no other. I get it. I really do. Thanks for supporting me, too!

Peggie – thanks for the well-wishes. I was raised the all natural no doc way… but in my adult life I go for gyno check ups, (and may go for various other incidental things, although typically try to let my body take care of itself if it’s “routine” stuff) but have a healthy skepticism if that makes sense. I am 35, so my gyno requires a baseline mammo… and the rest is history. You working for the FBI sounds cool. We can just pretend it’s all like it is on TV.

YAYYYYY LEANNE GOT A TICKET LEANNE GOT A TICKET!!!! Woo –hoo!!!! Go, Leanne’s DH!!!! So glad, honey. Hey… random question for the day, Leanne… what colors make you happy? I see you wearing a bright pink in your avatar… is that a fave? Just wondering. I have 2 nieces and 1 nephew on DH’s side (the youngest of which is now about 10) and a newish baby niece from my brother (Izzy, just now 15 months) and they’re having Jacob tomorrow! My SIL wants NINE children (yes, you read that right). I love new baby smell!!! I can’t wait to meet him (and smell him) tomorrow.

Am super duper pooped, I have been one traveling fool lately huh?

We made it, now I have to go stock the boat with clean eats, water and stuff...sorry bout my lack of personals, I did read up on everyone on my iphone in the car though.:7 You guys are so great...

BG, 'breckgirl" reminds me of that shampoo back in the early 80's or late 70's with that beautiful blonde. So happy to hear you get in tomorrow am! I know you are frightened, I would be freaking out, and just want you to know we are here for ya okay?

My DH's daughter's mother (his ex-wife, very sweet woman) had a mammogram, they found a 2 centimeter spot, so I spent last night trying to calm DH's daughter down, she is flying to Georgia Sunday to be with her mom when they do the biopsy. So, sending her good vibes as well this week...

BTW, for you new melters, DH and I own a boat that is docked at a marina, we bought it last year, but this is the first summer we are spending the whole three months here...its pretty big, and I have my closets stocked to the gills with clothing and shoes...which I never wear...I wind up in cargos and tee-shirts everyday! It is nice to get out of Vegas for the summer since it gets so hot!

*Doing a happy dance* Tneah's here! Tneah's here! Hooray! OK, now, sweetie, once you get all settled in, pick a day and let's finally meet! Yes, you must be so wiped out with all that traveling you've been doing. How did your hip feel after the long drive? Did Georgie enjoy his long walk? I bet you'll get all settled into the boat routine in no time. Three months will go by quickly, and it'll give you the chance to see how you and DH would like to live long-term on a boat, right? Oh, sending Mitch's DD's mom lots of positive vibes, too! What a week! And to change the subject to something cheerier -- don't forget that we still want to see photos of gorgeous you from Florida! I haven't added the boobie gal to all my posts. Do you think I should??

Robin -- Hope you're having a blast at the baseball game! Eat lots of peanuts and Cracker Jacks! ;-)

BreckGirl -- I love your enthusiasm! Yes, I was SOOO happy to have gotten that ticket! Favorite colors, huh? What a good question! Well, I think my favorite colors are actually pink and lavender. What are your favorites? It's funny b/c up until recently I only wore lots and lots of dark colors, but I've been trying to branch out a bit more. ;-) How cool that you have so many cute little nieces and nephews -- and the new one on the way tomorrow! I love new baby smell, too. We only have one niece, Clementine, who we haven't seen too much of lately. :-( I keep calling my SIL to get together with her and the baby (well, Clementine is actually 2 1/2), but she runs so hot and cold. We'll see them on Friday for July 4, though. Are you doing OK tonight? Maybe take a nice bath too relax and have DH give you a nice back rub to take your mind off of things. ;-) Oh, I keep thinking of those Breck commercials, too!
