OK, I'm back. A lot going on around here while I was gone. The nipple stuff reminds me of my first college roomie who would always say "It's a bit nipply out today" when it was cold. She got that one from
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, I believe.
DH says I have the sense of humor of a 13-year old boy, so the nipple comments are right up my alley.
So I went to see the nurse practitioner (is there a shorter way to say that--NP or something?) and she cut my Prozac dose in half, especially since I really only need it for my time of the month which I only have every 3 months. So we'll see if that helps with the fatigue.
Of course, guess where I went after that? Anybody have any ideas?
Jennifer, what kind of parade is it on Saturday?
Deb, yep, I'm no pear but a lumpy apple shape. Ugh. Few people are happy with the shape God gave them, eh?
Shannon, glad to hear the work thing is resolved!
Allie, {{{{{HUGS}}}}}. I know it's tough. I'm sure you feel a bit caught in the middle with the parents, too. My dad took up with my stepmother well before his divorce from my mom, but I was a baby at the time (which sounds pretty terrible, actually) so I didn't have to deal with that trauma myself. My mom said I was a blessing to her as a baby. I'm sure you can also be a blessing to your dad at this tough time.
Tneah, good luck with the boat shopping!
Kristi, good luck with your super-busy day.
Leanne, yep, did Drill Max yesterday, though I only did the cardio on the first 3 drills. I was pooped and had limited time, so I just did the weights on the other drills. It's actually my biceps and butt that are sore today.
Shelley, yep, Brian and his RAB buddies were a bit nutty. He went to Texas A&M, which makes him an Aggie. You probably don't get Aggie jokes up there, but down in Texas Aggies are the butts of many jokes. It's still a great university, though.
Oh, and that pic of Chris and the other guys really reminded me of pictures of Brian and the RAB!
Robin, the big thing at DH's school was the annual bonfire before their game vs. UT. Brian was one of the head chief organizer dudes one year and he was very into it. They would go cut down trees and then build this huge bonfire. Then a few years ago some kids died when the bonfire collapsed (while they were climbing on it putting it together) so they don't have them anymore.
Kara, we've missed you, too! Hope you can get DH to carry on with the remodeling soon. We are still waiting for the dude to come and do paving for us.
OK, have to admit at this point that it's unlikely I'll get my workout in. I was out of the house too long and I haven't even had lunch yet (at 2pm now). I also need to do a lot of cleaning--I'm reorganizing Isaac's room.
One last word: NIPPLE.
