Its Healing!

Im so happy, my belly button peircing is healing! I just wanted to say thanks again to all of you who responded to my little problem. I have been using peroxide and polysporin 2-3 times a day and its looking pretty good now.
I don't think it was infected internal though. I really think that I was using to much epsom salt in my water b/c it was the middle of my peircing that was causing the problem. I admit,I did something bad and it worked.Right in the center of the infection on Monday night there was a white spot, like a pimple. So I took a clean needle and touched it lightly, I know its gross but there was alot of stuff in there that needed to come out.Every since then, it as been drying up and healing. I am so glad I didn't take it out.

I used to have my belly button pierced. Silly me took it out. I would like to get it done again some day...

Lori...so glad to hear it's healing for you. I think a lot of people have run into the same problem. And I bet it looks GREAT on you!!! Go Girl!

I have gone back and forth over getting a belly button piercing. (It was supposed to be a before I turn 30 thing I was going to do, boy I missed that mark by about 5 years. LOL!)

The infection thing has been my biggest concern...that and the pain of getting it done x( . I've gone into the shop so many times and chickened out, that the guy has said that he would personally care for me while I was healing.

Should have done this when I was young and dumb and didn't have a care about what tomorrow would bring.
Sigh :-(

I'm leaning back on the side of getting it done again, but by the time I leave work again, I'm sure I'll change my mind again.

I knew I was gonna run into my problems...thats just me. I wouldn't be surprised if I don't have more problems with it yet.I have stopped picking at it though. Last week this time it was very sore, swollen and red. Now its gone back to its normal size and starting to look good again. I do like it and am so glad I didn't take it out!
