IT'S FRIDAY...QUESTIONS ANYONE?

Okay Cathe,

Filming is done, all that sweaty feelfitwear is washed (I certainly hope :eek: ) and now you get to edit, post gorgeous photos and try to wrap your head around the whole project. So let me ask you, at this point which workout do you think stands out the most? Which one is going to be beefing up all the chatter in the Catheverse?

No, they will remain separate. We will do a rotation mixing the low impact series in though.

I was wondering if there is going to be a rotation that combines XTRAIN with STS or are they going to remain two seperate entities (albeit in the same family) for the time being?
 
STS is traditional straightforward weight lifting. There is a different disc for each workout so you just have to pop it the disc and go. The only "homework" you have to do prior to starting the program is figure out your one rep max for a few exercises (available for free on our workout manager). But honestly, even if you don't do that and decide to jump right in using what you find to be very challenging weight or each exercise you will get great results.

There is no cardio in the STS weight program. We do however have a complimentary cardio program and it's STS Shock Cardio. These are 10 cardio workouts ranging in intensity depending on what you are looking for on a given day.

XTRAIN is an undulating system (which means every workout is different) and it's approach is non traditional. XTRAIN also has your cardio and weight training factored all into one program. We will be giving out suggested rotations for the XTRAIN series for maximal benefit.





I have several questions. I never did STS so I'm clueless as to how a program like this is structured. If you choose to do the 90 day program, are the workouts structured for you, telling you what to do on each day? Is this program more weight lifting intensive or cardio intensive? I am getting great results right now scaling down my cardio and adding more weight training (two upper/two lower per week, lower rep count, heavier weights) I am hoping this program is similar to that. Can you give me an idea of how STS and Xtrain differ as far as what results they deliver?
 
Gosh, that is a tough call since so many of the workouts had their own style of fun factor to them. Hmmmm, I'd say Hard Strikes, well maybe SuperCuts too, well then there is Cardio Leg Blast, All Out Low Impact was a sauna party in a box too....gosh, I just can't decide Jenn!

i would like to order the Xtrain but I do not have a straight bar; can I use free weights instead. Also, I am considering ordering the core max ab workout. Would just obtaining the Xtrain workout be sufficient and or would both be beneficial. Sandra
 
Want to stay in shape, but have bad knees.

I have zero meniscus's on my right knee and my left isn’t much better. Which videos would you recommend I use? I own the Low Impact series, but any squatting and lunging is out of the question at this time:(.
 
Hi Cathe! Looking forward to XTRAIN! LOVED STS! Got great results! What are some other workouts of yours that I can use to maintain my weight and continue to build muscle definition? I also have your GYM STYLES series. Would love to know how I could create good strength and muscle building rotations using your workouts! Loving them all! :) Thank you!

YYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY!!! When I did STS this summer, one of my favorite things was to watch your CatheTV updates and read the threads where you did STS with the Cathletes. I would love to experience any version of that! it would be so exciting. Cathe, you really are the best...thank you!

Irongirl- I'm pretty sure SNM said in a different thread that none of the Xtrain workouts use a barbell, just dumbells. :)
