It's so funny you would say that!!! When my son was in 1rst grade, depending on how many "points" his class had earned during the week, they got to do the Hamster Dance at the end of the day (a minute for every point). I used to go to pick him up early sometimes, just so I could peek around the doorway and watch them. No one does the Hamster Dance like a bunch of happy 1rst graders.

Your post just gave me the biggest smile!

He's in middle school now. I don't think I could pay him to do The Hamster Dance. He is far too mature - or cool - or ... something (?). I however, am none of those things. I was probably very "mature (*ahem*)" in middle school, but have long outgrown that (thankfully). So yah. I'll join you in the Hamster Dance, for sure.
