Hi Ladies!
I know it's been a long time since I've posted. Been getting myself situated in our new home. Finally got a job a few weeks ago (it was a long 4 months!) Had to spend time on the internet looking for work rather than lurking on all the fitness forums.
This month I've been doing a barre/kickboxing/yoga rotation supplemented with chinups. I can proudly say I'm now up to 3 chins in a row! Doesn't sound like much, but a major accomplishment for me. I've pretty much been chinnin' every day and it definitely makes a difference. Yesterday I did 1, then a set of 3 when I came home from work and then another set of 2.
Today was 2. Next month I will go back to a heavy rotation - probably 2 weeks of S&H and 2 weeks of P90X. I did Amy's Hi/Lo Cardio Knockout today. My cardio endurance still isn't that great. Got through warmup and 1st combo and knockout. Then I started modifying here and there. The weighted core section was good. She did a balance move and also a modified turkish getup with a side plank.
Linda - Sorry to hear about your cousin. Good luck with your new business. Did you like ASC3? I have 1 and 2 and like them both although since I have too many workouts, I don't get to do them as much as I'd like.
Catherine - That was quite an intense workout this morning. I agree with Linda - you do seem to have a lot of time on your hands today. It's funny - now that I'm working, I actually have more time on the boards again.
I'll try and check in more often again now.
