Well last night was kind of fun. I went to a tricky tray (chinese auction). I hadn't been to one in YEARS and I actually WON something! :D I had 4 CABS and ate like a pig though. I didn't even get on the scale this morning. It was already up from going out friday night so I didn't even wanna go there! :rolleyes:

Today's work out is Max Interval Plyo. I can't believe this rotation is so close to being over! I guess I am ready to move on to another rotation but I am not ready to give up Shaun completely! I am seriously going to try to do the X using my own cardio for a while and see how it goes. After all of the push ups in the Insanity rotation, I am hoping that P90X C&B is just a wee bit easier this time around! :p Pull/chin ups are gonna be KILLER! Haven't done 'em in ages. My lats are going to be ON FIRE after the first few times I have to do them! :eek:

I am starting my second of month 2 and I am with you Wendy, I love Shaun. What is your next rotation going to look like? I am wondering what to follow this with. I am also with you in that I am not getting on the scale for a few days, I too ate like a pig, what is with that on the weekends? What will you be doing to get back on track and when will you weigh again, I am always lookin for suggestions to stay on track.
 
Not a rotation follower of any kind (don't know why, just never could stick with any rotation) but Shaun immediately became my Sunday friend when I first got the series! This a.m. I did a cool mish-mosh of: Max Interval Circuit warm-up (doing my own brief thing for the prestretch), then Max Interval Sports Training in its entirety (omitting only the cooldown stretch), then the cardio from Core Cardio and Balance as kind of a cooldown on steroids. My O My O My. Is it me, or do each of these workouts get better each time you do them? I totally misunderestimated (thank you, Dubya) Max Interval Sports Training especially the first time I did it, but this morning was a real barn-burner!

Followed this up with some short barbell and ankle weight work for the legs, a Sharon Twombly short ab routine, and a short heavy upper body set. Feels good, feels good!

Insane Abs is on deck for tomorrow afternoon's set.

I am proud to say that both Shaun and Cathe accepted me as their "friends" on Facebook! With friends like that . . .

WHO NEEDS A PERSONAL TRAINER?!

I am going to try really hard to start and stick with a P90X rotation. I will modify it to suit me by using my M1 Insanity work outs, BBC cardio and CLX cardio with it. I did an X rotation in 2007 and it did wonders for me! I hoping I can stick with it again but there are so many other weight lifting vids/programs that are calling my name at the same time so we'll see. My only real goal with my next rotation is to make lifting more of a priority. I will work my cardio around that. During Insanity I fit lifting in where I had the time and could handle it. This next rotation will be the opposite though I do hope to get it in 3x per week. I only lifted once per week during month 2 of Insanity! I'll tell you what though, my upper body has never looked better!!!!! :D

As for my diet...when I go "astray" I just get back on track asap. Everything eventually falls back into place. My good eating far outweighs the times I eat badly so it all balances out as long as I don't let it get out of control. Just gotta always be on top of the "damage control"! ;)

Well, no work out for me today. I just don't have it in me. It's no big deal really as tmrw was gonna be my rest day so what difference is taking it one day earlier gonna make, right? Mentally I feel like sh*t for though b/c of how I ate and drank last night but I am being good today so I should be fine! Or at least that is what I am telling myself! :eek:

Hope some of you pop in at some point this evening!

Sorry for being MIA and having you post to yourself most of the day. I am still trying to catch up with so many things I decided I'd take yet another rest day.

Am just now looking at rotations and will do a 4DS rotation that Cathe posted for Nov 07. Will try to do the weights in the AMs and probably the cardio in the PMs so I'm not so sweaty ! :p I am usually up and awake by 5 - just need to drag myself outta bed and get started. For the OFF days or some of the Kickbox or yoga I'll throw in some of Shaun's M1 workouts for short but sweet. Hoping I can keep this one going with the *ugly* schedules I have lately and the chores/house updating I'm trying to get done.

That being said - I finished the baseboards in my guest room, shopped around to see what I could find for window treatments over the blinds and now just need DH to put the new closet doors in. If he doesn't get to it soon I'll give it a go ! :eek:

Wendy - glad you had a good time last night and KNOW the #'s will be gone soon. Enjoy your extra rest day - and know that I have had more than you ! :p;) Sounds like you have a great rotation planned (sorta :rolleyes:) and seems like it will bring the benefits you are looking for. Your bod seems to be cooperating very well lately ! Good for you !

Diana - GS w/o's are some of my faves but I decided to go for short workouts this coming month. Hope you enjoyed your relaxing evening last night. Thanks for the Sharkie vibes - they kicked the Penguins booties with a 5-0 shut out ! Nothing better than beating the Stanley Cup Champs at home !

Roselyn - I have ditched about half the 2nd month of Shaun due to work and home life in addition to just not feeling it. I love the workouts but get in funky moods or have issues like headaches and soreness that keeps me from working out. As you can see above, I will keep Insanity in my rotations as I really like the workouts and can see they have helped me lean out. I desperately need weights again though as I can tell that I haven't been lifting lately. Hope you continue to keep us informed of how you like the rotation and what you are up to.

Annette - how nice of you to pop in and share one of your mish-moshes. So you are using Shaun once per week it seems? And you got the deluxe edition huh? How are you liking the extra workouts vs the standard M1 & M2 workouts? I too am anxious for Shock Cardio because Shaun has me pumped for some HIIT from Cathe now. It sounds like her series will be a little more of a variety and that will keep my interest a little mre than Insanity I think. Pop in again anytime ! ;)

Jen, Lori and Laura - hope the weekend went well for you. BB in the AM.
