It only hurts when I move

I am doing GS for March, not new workouts, but new to me. I love un-shrinkwrapping workouts :D I did Chest/Triceps last night and the balance core mix from CM. I've had CM forever and do it on occasion, rotating it with my other ab work.

Have Mercy!!! That was a tough workout. And 72 pushups does NOT prime me for anything other than a nap:cool: I think the overall workout was harder than anything in STS, but I think it was due to the sequencing - ALL chest then ALL triceps, no push/pull no alternating muscle groups. I had to lower my weights on the incline chest work and the on the cross body tricep kickbacks. My ego wasn't happy. Things were shaking all over, for about an hour after I was done.

My chest, triceps, and lats are on FIRE today. I didn't realize my abs hurt, either, until I sneezed. OUCH! Not sure where that came from, I don't like ab work, but I keep up with it. Maybe all the sucking it in and core bracing to get those weights up during the rest of the workout, when they weren't really wanting to go up. Trying to do the pikes on the ball was funny, too. My upper bits were like "um, no" but I managed.

I am dreading legs on Weds, but am looking forward to some great results at the end of month.

Hi Nan,

Here's an incredibly dumb question. :eek: Are the GS workouts older? I've not been able to find them in Cathe's DVD's for sale. Am I just missing them?

GS Legs is KILLER! but in a good way. The first couple of times I did it I didn't think I would ever be able to walk again, especailly after the slow lunges,where you go down for 4 count, hold for 4 counts, go up and down 4 counts and then come up for 4 counts. I ached for days afterwards.

GS Series is without a doubt my all time favorite series.

I did GS Chest and Triceps on Mon and yesterday could barely move my arms! I love feeling the soreness so I didn't mind too much.
Can't wait to do the other two GS workouts!:D
 
I'm doing Cathe's March rotation. I was excited when I saw the gym styles listed for week two :)
