ishape diet

Has anyone here tried the ishape plan? I've been trying to lose weight with exercise alone and know I need to modify my diet. An exercise rotation works well for me - all laid out in advance.I'm thinking the same idea may work with diet- all laid out. Hopefully I would be more accountable, if I had to pay to join. I can probably modify the exercise to my Cathe collection. Any one tried this ? Thanks

I have. You have to put in information concerning yourself and tell if you want to lose weight, firm and tone, or maintain. (I think are the choices). You have to answer other questions to about equipment you have at home and choose from some options for exercise (bike, treadmill, pilates, yoga, running, etc.) You also have to do a strength assessment for the strenght area. You will choose what days you want to do what and they will send you a daily e-mail with what is scheduled for that day, with your workout and your meal plan. You will have 3 meals and 2 snacks a day. If there is a meal you don't like you can go in and change it with other meals, change items in the meal or even come up with your own. The meal are set with a percentage goal each day for carbs, fat, and protein of where they want you to be at. They also list the scheduled calories for the day and they keep track of all the information for you. When you change something in your meal plan you have to be careful because you could throw the whole day off. You have a weekly check in for weight and measurements and also a for strength. Of course daily for meals. You can check previous weeks to see how you are doing and you can also look a head to see what is coming. I hope all this makes sense to you. If you have any more questions you can post here or e-mail me. I hope this helps.

Thanks so much for the information. It was a great help. What are the menus like ? Is it easy preperation to feed one or are there lots of receipes with food that can be frozen ? I don't have lots of kitchen time, yet I have 4 teenage/preteen sons (and their father) to feed. They do eat healthy -but they have their limits.:)I'm just wondering if I would be fixing 2 meals all the time or if I could adapt it for family meals ? Also did it work for you ? Thanks again.

I snet you an e-mail for the menu that I have for today so you could see what it looks like. If you want I can e-mail a few other days so you can see them too. Everything would just have to be multiplied for more people. I always doubles mine and my husband would eat with me. My 3 sons however would not, but they are 2, 7, & 9 and they are in the picky stages right now. You could probably freeze some. There are lots of salads, spaghetti, some soup, and lots more. My plan was not to lose weight, I just wanted to firm and tone. I never gained with the meals and was starting to tone up and then I have recently switched to Cathe workouts instead of weightlifting in the garage. I need to fit my Cathe workouts into the ishape site yet. I have to get on and figure that out yet how to do that. I have not been following the meal plans lately because I have made the switch to Cathe. I still kind of follow the menu but not like I should.

I went a head and sent you another e-mail that has my menu for Friday and Saturday too with the recipes included so you can try them if you want. :) :)
