it is a product where you cleanse and drink shakes 2X a day until you lose the inches and weight and then you stay on a maintenance program which is one shake a day and 2 cleanse days a month. Each meal can be between 400-600 cal. It is packed with all kinds of vitamins etc. and is supposed to give mega energy. One girl has done it for 28 days and has lost 34 3/4 inches and 12 lbs. It is pricey and didnt know if I wanted to invest that much into something like that or if I should just eat healthy to get my results. I need to lose about 30 lbs. Ugh!!!!! My problem is consistancy and maintaining. Got any suggestions?

Hey was just looking at your picturs and where did you get your mat for the floor? How long have you been doing Cathe? You look great! I am just starting again and feel soooooo out of shape:(
Have you ever done the colon cleansing before?

Sounds like a combo of a low-calorie liquid diet and a way to get you to keep buying their product. Something like this often does not lead to sustainable weight loss, because once you go off the program, the weight returns.

The "cleanse" days, I suspect, are not so much cleanses as more low calorie days.

I suggest a lifestyle change that you can stick with for life, like "Eat to Live" by Joel Fuhurman, that not only will help you lose weight, but do it in a sustainable way that actually is healthy and reduces the risk of many chronic diseases.

Hey Kathyrn,
Thanks for the advice. I dont think it is a way to eat for life. So very restrictive. I will check out the book that you suggested. Hopefully it will have recipes cuz I get so tired of chicken, chicken, chicken!!! I need variety if you know what I mean.
Thanks again

If you are asking me. It is a 3/4 in puzzlematts from Dicks.
I was a firmie and on to Cathe for 1 1/2 years.
Never done a colon cleansing.

appreciate your suggestion. I have carpet and feel it is not very good on the knees when I am turning etc. I feel I get stuck and my foot goes one way and my knee another so I hope the mat helps. I will check out dick's. thanks a bunch

You can also find puzzle mats at Home Depot (where I got mine: both black and colored!) and Walmart.

thanks Kathryn for the suggestion cuz we live in a small town and we have a Dick's 1 1/2 hours away so Walmart 21 miles would be better. Thanks!
