Does it really take something a couple weeks to ship via normal USPS?? I am so PO'ed right now cuz I ordered a video off of Ebay as well as a dosage calculation book...both shipping normal USPS...and both are taking weeks to get to me. The video was shipping from New York, I am in Arizona, and it shipped April 4th and I STILL DON'T have it. The book shipped last Thursday from Kentucky.

Should I be worried?? The videos were a set and were some major bucks!! I can sort of track it on USPS, but all it says is that is was "processed" and left their facility.

I don't get why you can send a birthday card normal mail and it gets there in a few days but a package, small in size, sent normal mail takes weeks. What gives???

I sold some tapes on eBay. Most of them I sent to addresses on the east coast (same as me) and they all took about a week or longer to get to where they were going. You think USPS purposely makes it slow so next time you'll pay extra for their express service? Hmmm....
 
That sounds kinda weird, 'cause I have ordered Cathe stuff like on week-ends, Saturday or Sunday night, (non-business hours) & receive it by Thursday. I live in Texas. Are they waiting for a bank transaction to clear before they ship?

Hi Janice. Since I don't have a lot of time to go to malls I do most of my shopping online (ebay, half, qvc, amazon, nutrition express, etc.) normal usps for packages can take as long as 15 working days to get to its destination. For letters the norm is a couple of days at most a week. There is a cheaper form of shipping very popular among ebay sellers that's called media mail. A package sent by media mail can take as long as 25 working days. You said yours was shipped normal so I don't think this applies here, but just so you know. Just wait a couple more days and if by day 15 you don't get your package contact your seller.
 
I have an answer for you as I work in Mail processing for the USPS.

We have machines that process letters at 45,000 mailpieces per hour. We're supposed to go coast to coast in 3 days.

Unfortunately packages at most offices are handled manually. It takes more time.

Some companies will tell you they have shipped something, once something is packed. They won't tell you that they're waiting a few days to fill a container to send over to the Post Office.
 
media mail is shipped by truck and goes to bulk processing centers where priority is put on a plane.most of the time even tho media mail is slower I get mine in 7-10 days but it can take longer.
 
All of my Cathe stuff has come UPS, and I've received it in just 2-3 days. If she ordered something that was sent out USPS though, I could see that taking up to two weeks. I've ordered things before shipped by the US mail and it has taken forever, especially if it's media mail. :-(

I had two packages shipped the same day from the same location. One UPS the other USPS. I have already received the one from UPS (3 days ago-Tuesday) and I still have not received the one from USPS (it was a lot lighter of package too)and today is Friday. Hope that helps.
 
Hi since I aam kinda new to the forums I had a quesion that may or not be appropriate. Does any one here ever have any of cathes dvd's or tapes they sell. You kniw like maybe when they have moved on to the hardcore series or something. I am looking to buy some more of her dvd's but finances presvent this at the new price. I have coremax and it skips. I still have not figured out how to get a repacement. I also own high step circuit. I would love thave muscle max and supersets, leaner legs, body max and interval max. If anyone knows where I can pick these up used I would love to know. I have spent the last year recovering from being hit by a drunk driver and now I am back to working out and I am a intermediate advaced excerciser. Thanks for all your help.
 
MEDIA MAIL SUCKS!

A lot of people charge $4 or $5 for shipping on ebay but they don't mail first class but use media mail. That takes about 10 to 14 days to get from coast to coast.

I'm currently going through the same thing. I won a DVD on the 5th & I still don't have it. The person I ordered from charged me $5 to ship this thing media mail which only costs $1.35 to mail a DVD.

It shouldn't. But I just had a bad experience with USPS. I ordered something for my daughter on March 10 to put in her Easter basket. It shipped via priority mail, USPS, on March 16. I didn't get it until April 8. Needless to say, my daughter was a little disappointed on Easter. Usually, though, if something is sent USPS, it doesn't take that long. Especially Priority Mail. That should be only a couple days.
 
Media mail can take a LONG time. A worker at my PO said that it gets lowest priority: if there's room on the truck/plane, etc., it goes, but if there's not, it waits. First class postage ísn't that much more than media mail for a light DVD or video.
 
Well, they did not tell me they were sending it Media Mail!!! Grrrr... The book came today and it shipped AFTER the videos! So, this Monday will be two weeks on the videos! Don't you just feel like a dork checking that mailbox everyday? I have gotten to the point now where I just don't care.

Feels like BeachBody all over again!! LOL.

Yep, pretty sure this is just a classic case of snail mail. I'll be sure to make it atleast Priority next time!!
