The Power Tower is part of the Fitness by Cathe line. The factory that is making the Power Tower just produced the first “Real” unit a few weeks ago. We’re going to have some independent labs now test the product for safety, but production should begin shortly and you should see The Power Tower sometime before the end of this year.

Awwww shoot. I know you all designed the tower to go hand in hand w/ STS. For some reason the look out before the end of this year just dashed my hopes of having STS before Christmas. I hope I'm just being pessimistic right now and am wrong.

Sounds like STS will be shipped in pieces or it is a puzzle to be put together. Don't get me wrong I am very excited about it. But I need the STS shipped, then the pull up tower, figure out my 1 RM and maybe purchase more weights. I might have STS first, but it wont be like I will be able to do the workouts until all my other pieces are put together as well. Sure I know "I can do the workouts" when I get them, but I rather have all the pieces before I start. Kind of like doing a stability ball workout wihtout the stability ball.
When I do a workout with Cathe I like to have all the equipment I need. I don't mind the wait because I know it is going to be good, but the excitment is killing me.

STS and the Power Tower could be released at the same time or they very well may not be. All we’ve said is that their releases are independent of each other and it will happen this year. We’ve made DVDs in the past with products that were not available at the time the DVD was released. I’m sure most of you that have been with us a long time remember the High Step. It too was shown first in a DVD before it was available for you to purchase. In the case of the High Step it was at least a year or two after the release of our first High Step DVD before you could actually buy it.
I also don’t really think not having the Power Tower is going to be a big deal. In the case of your Stability Ball analogy there is a difference as you use the ball for nearly every exercise. While in STS the Power Tower is only an option and really not used that much. Pull Ups are the only exercise in STS that you really need a piece of equipment that we haven’t used before. There are plenty of cheap options you can use for pull ups that are readily available. Regardless Pull Ups only account for less than 26 of the over 1000 sets in the total STS program (less than half of 1%)
