I know certain herbal teas arent but i brought some tea to workwith me today and cant find if its safe.
The ingredients just say Pure Ceylon Black Tea with Cranberry Apple Flavor..

is ceylon black tea safe?

Jen, I can't comment on specific teas, but I do know that my midwives encourage me to drink tea (but I hate it!). Thye give me different kinds to try but blech! I hate hot drinks. Give me my ice water!

I drank tea every day through my pregnancy (Ceylon was one of them...but all I drink is black tea - the good ole caffeinated kind!) and Mason is a healthy and strong little guy!

I am pretty picky about what I eat now that I'm pregnant again. Actually, very picky. But I had a hard time giving up coffee, so I started drinking Orange Spice Tea, which I believe contains black tea and other herbs. It says it's "naturally decaffeinated" too. I love it and drink about two cups a day with a little Splenda sprinkled in it. I have heard to stay away from some teas, like Rosemary tea because it can cause early labor.

I also heard that we need to stay away from teas.. but cant comment on any time..
If it helps, I never gave up my lipton!
