Is it better to use an Invisalign brace or a metal brace for misaligned teeth?

Hello, my 19-year-old brother has misaligned front teeth. Even though it is misaligned, it does not appear to be that bad. His girlfriend, on the other hand, would like it straightened. I've never used Invisalign and have little experience with it. We intend to see a dentist as soon as possible. Before that, I'd like to get some feedback from you. Is it better to use an Invisalign brace or a metal brace for misaligned teeth?

I have used Invisalign for my teeth! worked well for me and was very comfortable too.

I did the metal braces route but that was before invisalign became popular. you need an orthodontists opinion on what is the best fit. why his teeth are crooked to begin with is a factor. don't want to go thru the expensive straightening process and then regress back to crooked as soon as the process is over. I did this when I was 55 yo. I didnt need extractions, a possible reason for being crooked, but did need some edges filed down to make room.
