Is 1 egg a day okay?

Never been pregnant but I've taken to eating two eggs nearly every day. And I know what you mean about craving eggs. For me, it all started at Bob Evans some time last year. One day I just started eating the eggs on my plate, with nothing on them, and couldn't believe how pure and clean they tasted. I was concerned because you always hear you're supposed to limit egg yolks, but I posed a question several months back over at BodyBuilding.com and found that nobody over there is afraid of egg yolks (the "risk" has, evidently, been waaaaaay overstated). So two whole eggs is fine for me.

Still, I bought several gallons of pasteurized egg whites (with a pump) from Egg Whites International (EggWhitesInt.com) and I plan to start using them for everything (including smoothies) soon. Right now, they're in my freezer.

I usually eat anywhere from 1 -3 eggs a day.

Gulp! I put 1 raw egg in my protein shakes. I've been doing this for about 3 years. I just cut down a bit on the protein powder and supplement the rest of the protein from the egg.

You can't even tell that there's an egg in it. It's really good. It helps thicken or make the shake creamy. Really no "eggy" anything. If you eaten cookie dough, brownie mix or cake batter, it's pretty much the same.
