iPod Touch Help!

Our iPod Touch has a white screen and nothing else. The white screen is lit up and will fade when I leave it alone, and will light up white again after I try to press any buttons, but that's it. I can't get it to turn on or off. So frustrating!! Any ideas on how to fix it? We do not have an Apple store around here

Try this:
You need to do a hard reboot.... hold the home button and the power button down at the same time for 30 to 40 seconds or until you get a Apple sign on your screen. This will reboot your ipod.
