iPOD FM adaptor

Last week one of the Cathletes posted a link to an online company that sold an iPOD car adaptor so you could listen to your iPOD in you car over your radio.

Well, I got mine two days ago and I'd like to say - it really works!

Just one things though (isn't there always?): Sometimes there's static over the stereo speakers, especially during quieter music/podcasts, etc. I found wiggling the adaptor in the power socket helped a bit.

Hope someone finds this info useful!

AH! I was thinking you meant the adapter that you buy, plug into the iPod and you can then tune into radio stations. When I run, I prefer the radio but my iPod (nor any of them) does not have radio capability. The adapter for THAT is around $50, and I'm saving for that!

Thanks for the info!

Oh! I hope I didn't misunderstand!

I am talking about the adapter that works like this: you plug the iPOD into the adpater, then plug the adapter into the cigarette lighter. Select the station number on the adapter and then tune your radio in your car to the same number. The music will play over your car stereo.

I spent $38.95, I think, including shipping.

Susan...I was thinking something completely different. What I want is a little adapter that gets plugged into your iPod. The little adapter has a dial of some sort that then can receive and tune into radio frequencies.

I'm kind of annoyed, though....you'd think for the COST of an iPod, they'd at least have radio capability!
