Care to share any of your fave iPod apps?

Thanks!
Heidi
Totally loving my iPod touch, btw -- the thing is genius..simply genius!

I have one I like called Workout of the Day. It gives you a short but intense Crossfit type workout each day that uses no equipment (except pull ups and box jumps). For example, today's workout is 3 rounds of 40 squat thrusts, 20 back extensions, and 10 pull ups. The app includes definitions of all the excercises and video clips of many of them.

Heidi-

Thanks for asking this question as I was wondering about apps myself.

My 1st generation classic iPod just died over the weekend and I picked up the 3rd generation 32 gig iPod Touch yesterday. I now have serious iPhone envy as they say the Touch is an iPhone without calling capabilities. I got all the artwork downloaded for my albums....so cool, set up email and got online. I'm still getting used to the keyboard and keep hitting the wrong letters but I'm sure it just takes practice.

One question....do you know how to change the weather location so when you touch that icon it displays the weather info for your area? Mine shows NY and some other country I've never heard of:confused: I can't figure out how to do it.

Enjoy your new toy!

Love my Iphone. Best purchase I have made all year. I like workoutmuse which is a progam that allows you do do interval training. Basically, you can customize it for length of workout, length of sprints (or hills) and length of rest. You put in your own play list with your own music. Listen to the program and it will tell you when to go, when your halfway through the sprint, and when to stop. I love it for the flexibility of being able to program in a short or long workout. I also like Livestrong which allows me to track cals. and workouts.

To change your weather location.... on my iphone I just tap the i symbol in the lower right hand corner in the weather app. That will take you to an edit menu to add your cities. HTH:D

My favorites are runkeeper pro for running, livestrong for tracking workouts and calories, facebook, shazam (if you hear a soon on the radio and you don't know the name of the song, this app will identify for you if you hold your iphone/ipod to the speaker) and scramble. My sil loves pandora but I have never used it.
