Ionic White.... does it work?

Has anyone tried the Ionic White? If so i was wondering if it worked and if you thought it was worth the money???

Good question and I hope someone has an answer.
My daughter asked for it for Christmas and I hesitate to buy it because I know NOTHING about it !
