introduction

Hi everyone,

I was just reading Linda's introduction (hi Linda) and thought it might be a good idea for me to introduce myself as well. I'm generally a lurker but for some reason this forum keeps compelling me to post--you're a great group of people. So, I guess I'm officially out of lurkerdom.

I'm Staci, I'm 33, and I'm not a natural athlete nor did exercise come easy to me. I'm one of the most uncoordinated people you'll ever meet! I started doing Beach Body workouts last year with great results. I got bored with that and tried to find a personal trainer, which was a bit of a flop, then found the videofitness forum and Cathe.

I only own two Cathe's so far, one a VHS tape that came with my cheapo step from Walmart (which I'll be replacing soon) and Supersets/Push Pull which I got in a trade. I ordered the new beginners tape and plan to start with that. In the meantime I'm doing Slim Series and just bought P90X.

Other things about me, I'm a writer, no kids, and I have two Pekingese dogs. I live in Alabama presently but am moving to the St. Louis area this summer. My husband is in the Air Force.

Nice to meet you too! Welcome to the forum of all forums. I think you'll really like it here and you'll get great advice and fitness tips from people. We are great listeners!! lol.

Welcome Staci!!!I want to join the Uncoordinated Catheites of America club with you and Shari.

Amazingly you will find yourself becoming more and more coordinated with Cathe's great instructions. I have just learned Rhythmic Step after trying it once (for about 15mins) and putting it away for over a year. It wasn't until after reading the posts about how fun this workout was that I previewed (should have done a long time ago) it before doing it which was very helpful. Now for those terminator killers,(in bootcamp) that's what I call them anyway, no amount of previewing will make those any easier.

Hi Staci and welcome! You will love Cathe workouts and these forums are great. Everyone helps each other and I have learned alot. I think the only Cathe workout I don't have is Cardio Kicks. If you have a DVD player the DVD's are much better than the VHS tapes as far as options. I have about 5 DVD's and the rest VHS. Very nice to meet you too...:)...Carole

I love dogs!!! I hope you like St. Louis. I have a friend from there who goes back a few times/year to visit her parents, and she & her kids always have a great vacation.
