intro to weight lifting dvd?

Cathlete
hello--- i need to buy a dvd for a friend that has never lifted--- looking for something basic to help introduce form and technique--- any ideas?

I think Cathe's Maximum Intensity Strength would be perfect. It is an oldie but goodie, imo. I pulled it out and did it yesterday for the first time in a long while, and it still impresses me. The exercises are standard, tried and true gymstyle weight lifting moves, and Cathe gives some of the best form pointers ever in this workout. For equipment she uses only dumbells, a barbell and a step, but you could use dumbells instead of the barbell. This was one of my first Cathe workouts, and I still love it.

I do nothing but Cathe weight work now...but...my first experience with lifting was with Gin Miller's "Simply Endurance." I remember it being a well-explained DVD and after mastering it, I was inspired to start looking for more advanced stuff, and well, the rest is Cathe-history!
