Interval Max question

Lezly

Cathlete
I thought IMax was a step tape, but I just read a post at the VF forum that most of the intervals are done on the floor. Is this correct? Is it really more of a hi/lo interval tape?

Thanks!

Interval Max

IMax is more of a step tape. You warm up using the step. The intervals have three parts each. The aerobic portion is done on the step. Some of the anerobic portions are done on the step and some of them are done on the floor (for example: on the step you do lunges, power circles, and on the floor you do plyo-jacks, power scissors). After each anerobic portion you get a recovery segment basically done on the floor (gravevines, etc.).

Does this help?

step portions

Hi Lezly,

The step segments at the beginning of the intervals are sorta like a sampling for the best of Cathe step. They are fun sort combos that you repeat 6 times before moving into the anerobic segments.
