This is so cool. I posted for the first time on Saturday, after lurking for a looong time. I'm not really supposed to use the internet at work for personal things. (I'm sure none of you abuse the internet at work.) I don't have the internet at home, because DH feels it is EVIL and won't allow it in the house. (He's not as bad as that makes him sound. I think he's just too cheap to pay for it and he has unlimited use at work.) But I just realized I can use the computers at the library. I love the library. I already stop here at least 2 times a week. Now I to can be part of the educated crowd. But I really have to go now. I didn't plug the meter enough $$ to stay any longer, but I will be back!!!
 
Oh, NO....I would never ever ever dream of using the internet at work. Total unprofessional, bad work ethic....and just plain naughty.

Geez, I gotta go, my nose just grew a foot and it needs to go down before I go to my meeting..... }(

When money was tight for us, we used Netzero. It's a free internet service. We eventually upgraded to the $5 per month service and made the mistake and upgraded to the $15 per month (it pixilated the pics)! That made me so mad at the time because the Hardcores were being filmed then.

HAHAHA!! I've actually held up a meeting (I'm so embarrassed to admit) I spent too much time replying to a post that I had to say "I'll be right there"

Well, I make the excuse that it's too expensive, cause the Evil Internet thing just sounds kind of weird. We have a son with a mental diability who is home alone for a few hours a day, and he could get into some really big trouble on the internet. I think that's the real excuse.
 
I think any living breathing human can get into some really big trouble on the internet. Have you checked into software that you can download that will block sites you don't want him to visit?
