Cathe- May I please begin by saying that you are THE best at what you do. I began working out with you nearly ten years ago, and have stuck with you ever since. My two year old daughter works out with me in our garage and always says to the T.V. "There's your friend Cathe, mom." And moments later she asks "Is Cathe hurting you?" Anyway, I would like to know if the Slow and Heavy series will help me just tone and lean rather than bulk? Thank you for any information you could offer, as your words are gold to me.

its hard for women to bulk unless your genetics dispose you to that,but slow and heavy will help lean out the upper body. of course cardio and diet also factor into leaning out the body so make sure you use this three prong attack.

Just wanted to say that I adore the results I get when I do a S&H rotation. I has always worked wonders to shape me up FAST.
 
Hi Alicia! This series is used to build lean muscle mass and break through strength plateus. If it is used along with a good clean diet, I don't think it will bulk anyone. While this workout is difficult to do more than 3 weeks (more due to the slow moving pace than anything else) if you see any muscle size appearing that you are not pleased with (which would really take a good little while to happen), simply switch to another series and/or cut back on how often you use S&H.
