Intensity wise, how tough is the CTX series?

They are really fun, but they are really intense. My hr is up there at the top of my range when were warming up. It's worth it to me. The variety is really good also.

I agree with Faythe. They are all tough, some tougher than others although I'm sure we wouldn't all agree on the order. I think PC and 10-10-10 are the toughest, All Step and Step Intervals close, but second, and Kickbox is by far the easiest. But, it's still medium-tough, just easier than the others. On the weekends I do longer tougher stuff like MIC or BodyMax, but for weekdays the CTX is really useful and not by any means a waste of time or money.

Hi :)

I agree too~they are tough, but very do-able! And they are so much fun! Each has it's own "personality" so although you may see a similar step in one or two of them, they are still very different. And don't be surprised if you can't tell the warm up from the routine! There are days I still say, "are we still warming up? have we stretched yet?" Even the warm ups are a workout!
BUT THEY ARE FUN, FUN, FUN!

What I would add to the others' comments is the way Cathe will throw in a few intervals here and there, or the way she inserts power 15's, 7's, and 3's. These are short, intense cardios with some important interval training frequently thrown in to up the ante, so to speak. I think 10-10-10 is toughest, then the Circuit s, then Step Intervals, then All Step, and finally the Kickbox--but they all get you going!
