Intensity of High Step Circuit vs LIS

For Cathe or anyone who can help,

I am planning on getting the mini topper. I have used HSC and HSTA on a step stool(love them both), but really think its time to get something adjustable. It takes too much space to have my full size step and step stool out at the same time, not to mention the constant shuffling of equipment and risers. Since I am really surprised at how much I love the new LIS(not too easy, not to hard and the perfect length!), I was wondering if i should also get High Step Circuit. The clips and format look great. I am aware this is not an advanced dvd, but if it's on par with LIS(intensity wise) I will put it on my B-day list. I purchased heavy resistance tubing last night to use with the add ons of the BS/BF dvd. It might be doing double duty if I get High step Circuit.
Just to let you know I am an advanced participant who is loving the newer intermediate workouts. Cathe you rock!

Thanks in advance to all,

Brad

Brad-

You might get more responses if you post this question in the DVD forum...

But since I saw it here... :)I have HSTA and HS Challenge and HS Circuit. I did HSChallenge on Friday and can still feel it! Love that workout.

High Step Circuit is one I don't do very often- I save it for when I need a light day, or after I've given blood or had a cold. It's fun for that.

It's chaptered, but I'm not aware the workout has any premixes on it.

I'm sure you could go heavier with the weights, but I don't really know how it would work to do the whole workout "higher intensity" like you can with LIS. (I don't have that workout though. yet.)

You'll love the topper, and wonder what you were doing on that stool!

Brad-

Thanks to your post, I just did HS Circuit this afternoon. (Gave platelets yesterday, so it was iffy if I should even work out, but it was after the 24 hours I was supposed to wait...) I was sweating, so it is still a pretty good workout for anyone- just pretty far down the scale if you're used to Cathe.

My favorite part of the whole thing, though, is that Cathe is on her very best behavior!!! She doesn't ask Cede how many reps are left (at least hardly ever), and she's got a tone in her voice that is so unlike her Imax and Hardcore voice it's like those are here evil twin...}(

Anyway, I'd say, go for it! You can't go wrong with Cathe, any way you look at it !;-)
