Insoles vs. New Shoes

How do you know when you have to replace your shoes instead of replacing the insoles? I have been replacing the insoles in my Rykas for about 2 years and I'm wondering when I'll need to get new shoes. They still look fine since I only wear them to workout, but when are new insoles a waste of money?

Acutally you need to get new shoes, especially tennis shoes that you use to workout in about every 6 months. They may look brand new, but they no longer have any cussion (sp?) for you feet. The insoles apparently will last for a year at least. So, if you haven't gotten new shoes for 2 years, go get some new shoes. If you have just gotten some new insoles, take them out, they are still good and put them in your new shoes when you bring them home.
