Glad you were able to get some housework done while you were working from home yesterday. I hate cleaning bathrooms. :rolleyes: So what is the projected finish date for month 1 for you girls? Will you be taking your stats to see what your progress is? I wish I would have taken pics before starting. Oh well. I think I will just take pics this weekend and then once the rotation is complete. Better then nothing.

Like I said y'day, today will be Pure Cardio n Cardio Abs. I considered doing Cardio Abs this morning (probably would still have time) but I'm thinking not. :p If I don't have time to do both work outs b4 I pick DS up from school, it won't be a big deal to sneak in the abs after I pick him up.

Going to mom's for dinner and a visit tonight so getting on the scale in the morning could be scarey! LOL I am going to practice portion control. If I do a good job I should be OKAY. FINGERS CROSSED! :D

Mornin' Ladies,

I'm just sipping my coffee this morning. I've gone back to getting Dunkin' Coffee and its delicious. Cardio Recovery is on tap for this morning but I'm really want to do a step w/o ala BM2 cardio. I'm sure it's because it's weigh day for me and I always do cardio on weigh days. It's a mental thing for sure. I'm sure it's not as bad as I think, and I did drink 128 oz of water yesterday.

I'm a little disappointed we don't have anything planned for our anniversary-21 yrs today. I'm hoping we can do something next weekend. Jerod has football practice tonight, tomorrow night and a night game on Saturday. Next weekend he has a day game so DH and I should be able to go out.

Wendy-It looks like month 1 ends Oct 3rd and then we have the recovery week. So is this your recovery week, or is it next week? I originally thought our 2 months would be up the end of October but I didn't count the recovery week. I will take stats again after month 1, not sure if I should take them before or after the recovery week.

Morning ladies !

Well last night was fun - DH and I got in 2 separate lines and we got 5 Sharks autographs each and then watched an intersquad scrimmage game. There were many trades this year so we're gonna have lots of new players to learn ! :confused: No workout to report and even after eating Subway and half a restaurant porterhouse dinner (Yum !) it only added 1/2 a lb. rather than the usual 1 - 2 lbs. Yee Haw on that account. I wonder if my increasing hot flashes are mimicking workouts? :p

Have been too tired to workout in the AMs cuz with no sleep I'm not any good at work so sleep takes precedent there. Tonight is a "no cook" nite for me - have to shop but may do it at lunchtime so I can pull a double after work tonight. We'll see how that goes.

Oh Yea ! ! ! ! ! ! DS1 and family are moving down this direction only a 1/2 hour away the last weekend of the month ! Am I excited or what ! ! ! :eek:

Laura - LOL at the "kid" in class and you bustin' his behind. Funny but I enjoy it also when I can keep up better than those younger than me. Now I am hoping I don't pay for it too much later on with joint issues but am doing pretty well so far considering I have been active most of my life. Hope yesterday ended up a good one for you.

Diana - OK - my sleep seems to be the same as you but I haven't had the 1.2 much in the past. Now it seems to be consistent when it is tracking sleep. Just seems funny that I'd burn a little more sleeping than when sitting and moving around at work? All positive if it is higher though. Nice job on getting lots accomplished yesterday at home. Wish I had that option.

Happy Anniversary to you . . . sorry you can't celebrate closer to the date, but sounds like next weekend will work.

Wendy - at least you got a weight workout in yesterday - better than nothing. You have been doing really well so what the heck if you took a break from Shaun ! LOL at you thinking so far ahead. I will be out of town the first weekend in Oct for probably 4 days so I may be trailing on finishing or just shorten the recovery week. We'll see how far behind I actually get - will be helping DS move the weekend prior so . . . I am up for some heavy weights after Insanity though. I am itching for some weight but am still tired from these workouts.

Morning Ladies!

Went home and tackled Pure Cardio .. worked up one H## of a sweat .. and a good burn in the quads .. my left shoulder and chest is sore . think from the cardio pushups I did all of them this time and knew I would be sore .. oh well .. I decided NOT to do Cardio Abs b/c I worked the abs SO HARD TUE .. and tonight is plyo class and it ends with my TOUGHEST ab work .. so think I am covered in the core .. LOL .. Will be interesting to see if the kid shows tonight .. my friend told me I had better watch out I would end up w/all the ball players in my class .. LOL ..

Wendy .. I love the title .. found it no problem .. and it is suits us too!!! have fun w/PC and CA today!!! I am missing my bis and tris work I am used to .. gonna have to add some in somewhere .. OK .. so after 4 weeks there is a recovery week from INSANITY??? What are we to do that week?? (yes SIL still has the chart)

Di .. Happy Anniversary!!!! nothing planned??? well that can be nice too .. maybe you can think of something for the weekend or the next .. just make some "couple" time for you both tonight ;) have a FUN workout ;);):eek:

I am hoping I dont have joint issues later in life too .. my bum knee already puffs up on rainy days .. my DM has arthritis and osteoporosis .. she has always been active .. but not like me .. she would work outside for ever .. but hated to exercise!

Hey girlies!

I did PCC this morning and it kinda kicked my butt. My workouts seriously suffer as it gets later in the week. I finished it, but I was doggin' it through the level ones at the end. I'll do triceps tonight and probably biceps, too.

Laura: I'm so proud of you for kicking that little twerp's butt ;) I had no doubt you could, but some people might go easy on a first timer like that. Not you though! You're relentless!! (Meant as a compliment, of course :D) Foot was a little better today but I still felt it. I think it's the lateral moves that are doing it (i.e. suicide runs). I have two new pair of sneakers actually, a pair of runners and a pair of cross trainers. I think I must have just landed the wrong way or something.

Wendy: I swear to God it was an accident :p And wouldn't you know that when I looked at the actual calendar this morning when I went out there, I saw that it said Cardio Recovery for today's workout and actually thought "Oh yay!" for a minute :rolleyes: The mind isn't in full working order that early in the a.m. So I'm schedule to finish month one on 10/7. I'm not sure I'll take my official stats then or at the end of recovery week. As far as add ons though, I'll likely just stick with GS one body part a day in the evenings. Regardless of how long the morning workouts are, the one body part thing is so doable for me. I'm seriously considering jumping into the X myself when Insanity is done, so if you want company you can keep that in mind.

Diana: I'm a DD coffee addict. Seriously, I have a hard time drinking anything else and I keep the house fully stocked at all times. (Four lbs. for $20 right now, btw ;)) Happy anniversary to you and your DH!! 21 years is a huge accomplishment, especially these days. You def need to celerate soon. Re: OH-I said to DH this morning "I hope I'm getting something other than tired out of these Insanity w/o's". He just laughed! He hasn't seemed to learn when to lay down the compliment though, even after all these years, huh? Men...:rolleyes:;):D

Jacque: How cool you got all those autographs! That must have been fun to get up close and personal with them a bit. Any cuties? Good luck getting in that double workout tonight!

Insanity showed up yesterday:D after I got back from my run...there it was! What a great package!!

Oh my GOODNESS! Just finished 4DSUB! I can't remember that workout being so tough!:eek: My arms feel sooo weak right now!:confused: I am gonna be sore tomorrow, thats forsure!!! But we like it that way!!

Im trying to decide if I should go out for a run...not sure my arms can push the stroller right now, or try out one of my new workouts. The problem with that is DS is downstairs and I may get interupted during my workout:confused:. I had to stop for a break b/c I am starving!

Laura - PC is def a sweat creater ! My wrists are giving out on all the pushups so I have to take breaks. :( Plus they are so fast I am worried about keeping up since my shoulders are creaky. Oh well, still sweat like a little piggy anyway ! Can't wait to hear how class goes tonight ! ;)

Jen - you know my legs are really tired from these workout and always just a little tinge sore even still. I'm definitely a little slower this week - hope I can get in the groove here soon. At least I always feel very worked out afterwards ! Yep, quite a few cutie pies on the team and most of them are the same age as my kids ! Ha !:p

Lori - Yee Haw you finally got your Insanity ! Now we'll see how long you can go without testing it out ! :rolleyes:

Hi ladies,

I've been slammed here at work..UUGGHH. Everything's a problem and there isn't anyone here to solve them.

I did do BM2 Cardio Blast this morning and have my last bootcamp class of this year tonight. I should do Cardio Recovery tomorrow morning, but I have an early meeting so it will have to be in the afternoon. My weigh in was fine, stayed the same. I'm still down 4#'s and that's good, especially after my 15pt club sandwich.

Jacque-maybe it's tracking higher cal burn during sleep due to the Insanity w/o's. Is it only higher since starting Insanity? Nice job on the autographs. I want to go to the Avs first game where they will be retiring super Joe Sakic's Number/Jersey.

Laura-I'm definitely missing my weight workouts. Not sure when I would even fit them in right now. Can't wait to hear how the new guy does in class tonight.:p

Jen-oh yes, I struggled with this one too. This weeks schedule had 3 w/o's before the recovery, last week only had 2.

Lori-glad to here Insanity finally arrived. Nice job on 4DS UB.

Pure Cardio and Cardio Abs got done with about 15-20 minutes to spare today! :D

Jacque:: 5 autographs each? That's cool. :) So happy for you that DS got the job and is moving closer to you! That's awesome!

Diana:: Yay for the status quo weigh in after the 15 pt club sandwich! That's awesome! ^5's! Enjoy your final BC class tonight!

Lori:: So what work out did you choose to do today? YAY for Insanity's arrival...FINALLY! :rolleyes::D

Jen:: Okay, if you are game for the X and I think Diana might still be game as well then I will definitely do it after Insanity. I think it'll be a good follow up as it switches the main focus from cardio to lifting. :) In the mean time I'm gonna play around with the weight lifting and just do what ever moves me each week. As long as I am lifting SOMETHING during Insanity I will be happy. Ofcourse I say this now but once Month 2 starts I may give it up completely! :eek: LOL

Laura:: Yes, after 4 weeks of the Month 1 work outs you get a week of "recovery" which is 6 days of doing Cardio Core and Balance then a rest day and then Month 2 begins.

Okay, gotta grab a shower and get ready to head to my mom's. Wonder what will be on the menu tonight!? No doubt something FRIED! :eek: LOL Portion control!!! Portion control!!! Portion control!!! :D

Diana - well I wish I could go to our first league game WHICH IS IN COLORADO ! ! ! We are taking vacation the day after for my cousin's daughter's wedding and hopefully catching up with some old friends the same trip or I would SOOOOOOOOO contemplate it ! What a blast it would be - DH has never been and it's been eons since I was there. DH's beer is Coors so I think he'd like the manufacturing site out there in Colo. Springs. Perhaps when Eggland's best goes there? I'm not sure I can make the SDiego date as it is always our Garlic Festival and DGS1's bday. Course now he will be closer I could visit ON his bday ! Hmmmmm - something to think about.

Wendy - I'm thinking "portion control" for you since it is probably nearly your dinner time right now !

Ugh....I sat down earlier and wrote a loooong post and whadya know, the wireless decided to disconnect itself!:mad: DH was going to get someone to come in a look at b/c it hasn't been working properly since we moved in here. We often connect to my SIL's wireless next door!:mad:

So of course I had to try out a Insanity dvd...I don't know what all the fuss is about. You guys can't tell me that you actually think this stuff is tough!?:eek: I want a full refund!;) JK! Did I trick you even a little bit???I was sweating buckets before the workout even began! LOL I had to take a couple of breaks in the beginning but you kind of have to in order to finish it. Im not sure what I did, it was one of the ones in the 2nd month cardio and abs...I think. I don't think doing these workouts are going to interfer with my training, if anything it should make me run faster! I think I am going to be sore all over tomorrow. I was going to get on the TM tonight and do CC#3 but right now I feel sllllllleepy! I may save the run for the a.m:)

Okie dokie - PCC complete. Boy it seemed to fly by tonight but near the beginning, just after the warmup, I was quite tired. Gained a little energy the last set but still needed a couple of breaks during the Drill #1's. My quads get so tired . . .

Lori - Well thought you were pretty cute trying to say they weren't hard, huh? :p Will be waiting to see how it affected you tomorrow. ;) I think you definitely have more spunk than I do but these are really keeping me pretty tired. I've had some leg soreness - not bad - but lingering - the entire time I started. Wish I had your "energizer bunny" energy ! :rolleyes: By the way, if you have computer issues frequently here's a little "trick" I learned when typing long posts: open a Word document and put your post there. Then save it occasionally and when you're done you can copy and paste into your reply. I do that when I have a couple days to catch up cuz I can't remember that far back.
