insanity and slim series or jari love

so i'm wondering if doing insanity m,w,f and then slim series or jari love on t,th, and sat would be a good combo. Thoughts?
 
I don't think SS would yield any decent results only being used twice a week because of the type of program it is. I think Jari is a better bet.

Perhaps you want to consider doing an SS rotation when you are done with Insanity?
 
I used Jari Love's Ripped & Chisel yesterday on my Insanity off day. I have to cut my workout week short(leaving for vacation) and wanted to get all my body parts worked one last time. I think I'm going to continue with full body weights on off Insanity days. I liked it:) I think it's a great combo.
 
I just got insanity, but haven't started it yet. Curious as to why you want to modify the insanity rotation? is it too much impact to do a whole week? or are you just wanting to add weights?

I am in my 4th week of the "recommended" insanity rotation but I added weights.
I used the weight work from Cathe's 4DS for 3 weeks with Insanity.:)

I think after a few weeks of insanity, I'll be dying to hit the weights! 4DS is a great idea.. thanks for the tip :D

for me i quickly realized that i cannot do such intense workouts back to back. i get drained, feel overtrained, and just feel exhausted even with extra cals. So its better for "ME" to do insanity everyother day and insert some full body weights inbetween.
