Good Saturday morning,
Woo Hoo the weekend is here an it’s time for me to take a breath. I am sooo tired from all these meetings and trying to keep up ! One more Mon – flying to San Diego and back – and we are done. I need to exercise and sleep more, need to get back to my “normal”. Am feeling like I am missing out on life lately.
Will be doing workouts both days this weekend trying to catch up a bit and from there, most likely no workout on Mon and then I'm just following the schedule from there. I don't want to prolong this any longer since I've missed so many workouts and am feeling a little deflated in the muscle department. I don't have the time or energy to add on so will stick it out and hit the weights again when we are done with the rotation.
So whining done – time to check in to see what my cyber pals were up to yesterday. . .
Lori – I wish I had time to check in here at work . . . not sure I’d want to just be hanging around waiting for people to get their business done though. Would love to “sleep on the job” sometimes too !
I do hope you are sticking to no cardio to rest up for tomorrow. I can’t wait to see your new record – don’t wait too long to fill us in OK?
And so I see you are filling up your house again. For one who has none of my family close, I hope that even though it may not always be fun, it is a good thing for you. You and your DH are very very considerate people and it’s nice you have the option to help out when those close to you need help. Did I miss how the dinner with the big wig went the other night?
Wendy – sorry you’ve been in the same “no workout days” mode like me. It just doesn’t feel right !
But life sometimes gets in the way – at least you will be enjoying yourself this weekend – will be waiting to see how your lucky streak holds out.
Diana – if you get here before Jerod’s game tell him “good luck” from me. I sure hope they win since going to the finals is such a treat. Something that you remember forever when your team can pull it together and make it that far. Just want to let you know I’m your “partner in crime” with not sleeping well lately. It really doesn’t help with these Insanity workouts, huh? Here it is the weekend, I’m tired, haven’t exercised, and I wake up at 5 AM ! What’s up with that ? ? ?
Laura – good to hear your cookout was fun despite the weather. You aren’t a wimp – your body just knows what it doesn’t want to do . . . would rather use it’s energy to do Insanity and not recover from CABs! LOL !
That is why I usually drink MGD64, NA beer or at least Coors Light. I don’t do “mornings after” well any more either. It is a good thing you know? Your painting sounds wonderful ! I can imagine the smile on your face when you won it. Congrats. Sounds like a packed weekend – enjoy !
Hiya Jen ! See you were MIA y'day also. Hope you're just too busy and nothing else. So I did see your "boy toy" made it through an entire portion of an exercise the other day in MIC !
He was getting a bit slow though . . .
I like the fact that we can keepi up with all these youngin's who have been doing the program for a while. Makes me feel like I'm in some sort of decent shape. Hope the weekend treats you well.
