Good Morning Y’All!!

MIP is done - WooHoo!! A couple of times in the workout I felt like that guy in the Insanity infomercial, you know the one who they showed to the door - LOL!! I had to just laugh at myself and power through. I’m really looking forward to taking it a bit easier next week. As I mentioned before I see myself doing Insanity strictly in an all out Insanity rotation for the best results for me - I’m an all or nothing kind of gal ;)

Dawn, Becky & Brenda ~ Keep up the super work!!!!! Any plans for the weekend?

I’m sooooooooo glad it's Friday - Super WOOHOO!!!!!!! Happy day everyone!!!

Good Morning,
It is a great Friday CA and MCC are done and my PowerTower should arrive today!! I was nervous about CA since it's been a few weeks since I've done it. It wasn't as bad as I remembered. Again not easy, but I was expecting worse. :p I'm looking forware to CC&B.

Jennifer, I'll be doing my fit test on Sunday, right before I head out to the Packer game. The DH scored free tickets.

Brenda, super ^^^5's to you. I would be elated if I ever had the chance to say "I purposefully gained 2 more back because I was starting to get too skinny". You've seen some really inspiring results.

Becky, 2 miles in 17 minutes. Holy cr@p, you're like the wind.

Everyone have a terrific Friday..

Good Morning Everyone!

I am so glad it is Friday. This morning was MCC and Insane Abs. It was much harder than CA and I am sore. Just a few more hours until the weekend and I can rest.

Dawn, congrats on the free tickets.
Brenda, ^5 to you. Did you follow the diet too or just the workouts?
Becky, great run!!!
Jennifer, are you doing P90X next or just winging it next week?

Have a great day everyone!

Happy Friday Ladies!!

Jennifer: One more day and you are finished!! WOOT WOOT What an accomplishment.
In the future when I want to blast throu a plateau I will definitely repeat Insanity again- for the near fututre I want to maintain my results. One thing this rotation showed me is that I can still do hard all out cardio plyo workouts 5 days a week, something I wasn't sure I could do.

Dawn: "Celebrate, celebrate, dance to the music" (good grief I am showing my age) It'll be like christmas getting the Power Tower. Don't ya just love getting new toys for your home gym?

Colleen: MCC and Insane Abs are tough together. I started doing the ab workout before the cardio workouts because my hip flexors werealways killing me if I did abs last.... it seemed to help my form in both workouts. You obviously had gre4at form if you are sore!!
I did follow the diet plan and found that the 5 small meals where the "magic bullet" for me.

I taught my step and sculpt class today and threw in some drills from MIST and MCC for the aerobic intervals. The class loved the drills, but hated the length of each drill. For one of the drills I did 1 round of the warmup for Month 2 workouts and when I told them that was 1/3 of the warmups to the workouts I have been doing the last 2 months one of the girls who is a fitness instructor exclaimed "That's Insane!!" to which I said "Exactly!!" She had no knowledge of the Insanity series and after class I was talking to her about it and I believe another Insanitina was born today!!
I will do the fit test tomorrow and post my final results this weekend. I really think the major gains were made at the fit test in week 6, I expect to have about the same numbers as the last FT I took, but we will see. Whatever the results are, they will be a darn sight better than the very first FT!!

Have a fabulous weekend everybody..... and Becky: have a blast in the mud run!!

Brenda in Indiana

Brenda- I too do the AB workouts before the cardio. The hip flexors really do take a beating in Insanity.

Dawn- WOW - free ticket to the Packers game- enjoy!

Workout today-
1. CCB
2. Leg / back – P90X.

I am still always so amazed at how much I have improved with the Insanity workouts. Yesterday I did MCC and did not nearly feel as wiped out as I did the first time it did it! I have two weeks left to go.

What are some of your favorite lines from Insanity?

I always chuckle when Shaun says ‘people this is a water break, not a coffee break. “ Another favorite line is at the end of MCC when Shaun says- “I don’t know where you are laying- on the floor, on the couch, on the garage floor but get up we have to stretch. The first time I heard him say that- I wondered how did he know that I was lying on the floor? MCC my first time through was brutal.

Have a good weekend!

Regina

Good evening, Ya'll!

Jennifer......One More Day!!!!! One More Workout!! GO GO GO GO GOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Dawn......So how's the Power Tower?? Did you immediately assemble it and attempt a few pull ups?

Colleen.....Ah ha! Just as I suspected! MCC and IA is a deadly combination! Where are you sore? In the core?

Brenda......Ha ha!! Next week you can take them through 2 rounds of the warm up, then 3 rounds the week after that, and so on, until in a month or so you've got them doing the whole routine! I can't wait to see your 1st and last Fit Test comparison!

Regina......I don't think I've heard Shaun make the "coffee break" remark, but I get a chuckle from the "whereever you're lying, get up" bit. I think he knows we're all lying down, because everyone in the gymnasium is flat on their backs. My favourite line is "This sh*t is bananas!" at the end of, I think, Pure Cardio. I'm always thinking the same thing.

I haven't gone Insane for the last 2 days. Yesterday was a 30min jog with a client at 6am, and in the afternoon I did STS Disc 30 (shoulders, biceps, triceps). Then I taught a cycle class after dinner. Today I taught a total body resistance class (much like Power Hour) and a warm water aqua class. I'm pooped. I haven't gotten nearly enough sleep all week, and still feel like I'm catching up from last weekend. I plan to pick up the rotation tomorrow, with MCC and either IA or CA.

'Night All!!
Sandra
