Insane Party Sat Sept 20th

Ffte

Good Morning All,
I just finished CC&B. I finally made it through the left side on hip burners and made it to the last 5 seconds on the right. A testament to HH. ;) I got cocky and continued the shoulder burners until the timer on the screen went to zero after Shaun T had everyone stop. :p

Coleen, I will not order the deluxe package, I will not order the deluxe package!! But you guys are making that difficult with all the talk about them.

Brenda, I'm sure you'll rock your last FT. I look forward to hearing the results.

Regina, I really like MCC. Good job. Although I think MIC is my favorite M2 workout. I don't know how MIP can be yours.

Sandra, Sounds like you've been getting insane without Insanity. ;) Enjoying coming back to the fray today. Yes, I did immediately put up my tower and try it out. I think it'll work great for me when I start using it in a couple weeks.

ETA: As I was getting out of the shower I just realized I completely forgot to wish Becky good luck with the Mud Run. Go Becky, Go Becky!

Hi Everyone!

This morning was MIST and a 20 minute run. My obliques are still really sore and it was bad enough to wake me up last night. Apparently my favorite sleeping position keeps them contracted and after a few hours they cramp up. I will try some stretches and advil before I go to be tonight.

Becky, Good luck with your run!
Dawn, I like the workouts in the Deluxe package but I don't think it was worth the price. I ordered the deluxe set with my original order because I knew I would want it later.
Brenda, congrats on converting someone over to insanity. Good idea incorporating some of the drills into your class.
Regina, I laughed this morning because in MIST, Shaun told someone they didn't need water - get back into the workout.
Sandra, you have done plenty without Insanity. Do you run indoors or outdoors at 6 am?

Colleen- I don't have MIST but I am considering getting the discs that did not come with the basic package. You don't think tht they are worth the price - why? Shaun told someone in MIST that they didn't need water- usually he encourages everyone to drink water! I hope that your obliques are feeling better soon! where are yu in your Insanity rotattion?

Dawn - you are a glutton for punishment. You continued to do the shoulder burners even after Shaun said to stop! Good for you . I wish that I had your motivation! Each time that I do one of the workouts in month two they grow on me. i think that is because they get a little easier.

I have decided that one of the things that I really enjoy about Insanity is Shaun's personality. He is encouraging but tough without being over the top.

In the Insanity informercial some of the participants have a printed worksheet that records all of the results of their fit test. Did any of you get that work sheet in your package? Is it available on the Beachbody's WEB site?

Becky - good luck on your Mud Run!

Todays workout- Max Recovery

Everyone - have a great weekend!

Regina

Hello everyone-
Did MIC yesterday for the second time and I agree that it did get a little easier. But boy my hips are sore from those floor side ab things. Can't think of what they are called! Got MIP on the schedule today.

Becky- good luck playing in the mud today
Regina- I don't know about the worksheets. I thougt they were just using the chart with the calendar on it. But I made my on in Excel anyway.

Have a great weekend everyone!
Marianne

Good Saturday Evening!

How come we haven't heard from Jennifer, on her very last day? Jennifer!! Let us know how you did!! How do you feel?

Dawn - Nice improvements with CCB! So, HH is making a difference!! You're going to have hips of steel soon :) My physiotherapist told me that the hips love compression; it's one area where you want to have really strong muscles.

Becky - How was the mud run?? How many showers did it take to get clean again?

Colleen - Wow! IA did that to your obliques?! I regret that I didn't do it today, then! Due to time constraints I did CA. How long is MIST? I'm supposed to do it tomorrow. I run outdoors at 6am, with a client that I train. Between May and August we have full daylight by then. But it's gotten very dark now. The sun's just starting to rise as we finish at 6:30.

Regina - I love Shaun's personality, too!

This morning I taught my AquaFit class. By time I got around to doing my workout, it was 4:30, and I had ZERO desire to do it. The only reason I did it is because I've learned from experience that how I feel before a workout has nothing to do with how I feel doing the workout. So, I double-knotted my laces and popped MCC into the player. My stomach felt too full during the whole workout, and I felt "heavy", but otherwise it was a great workout. Due to just being very busy, I haven't been eating as well as I should. I'm eating on the run for almost every meal, and lack of prep time means I'm not eating very many fresh veggies and fruit. I also had a week of 5.5hr-6hr nights; not nearly enough sleep for me. This culminated in me sending DH to the store for ice cream last night: chocolate, please!! He came home with a couple of friends: Ben & Jerry :D. I'm pretty sure this led to my sluggishness today. Ice cream is not what fuels our Olympians, is it?

So, this week I have to work on getting better sleep, and more balanced meals.

Tomorrow I plan to do STS Disc 31 (Chest/back) and either CCB or MIST. I'll probably do the chest/back workout in the morning, and the cardio in the late afternoon.
