Good Morning Y'all,
Well not exactly. Yawn! Yesterday was FitTest#4. Wahoo.. That went really really well. I was ready for MIC right after, but I didn't have time. Today was MIC. I started off good, but hit the wall .. no crashed into the wall is more like it. I did some self talk, even tried visualization and went back at it only to crash into the wall again. I repeated this over and over. I finally realized there was no way I was going to crash THROUGH the wall and my efforts were futile. My self talk and visualizations were only giving me a few seconds of burst and I skipped the 3rd round of Cycle 3. It was the first time I haven't completed a workout. OH well there is always tomorrow. Of course I am focusing on my Fit Test on Sunday, because I'm really really happy with that. All my numbers were up from last time.
FT1 /FT4
Switch Kicks 58/73
Power Jacks 55/72 (up nine from last time)
Power Knees 120/126
Power Jumps 63/73
Globe Jumps 8/13
Suicide Jumps 16/20 (up three from last time)
Push-up Jacks 20/30
loplank Obl 70/82
Brenda, Awesome improvement with the numbers and the loose skinny jeans!!! That has to feel unbelievable. I really like the push-up jacks too!
Becky, Thanks for the MudRun report. How inspiring, but like Sandra, I kept wondering about your ankle and how you would feel about today. I hope it heals quickly. The local news report here in WI actually did a short blip on the Mud Run. They did real short sound bites with some of the people. Things like, "This was a blast!" "She made me do it!" and so on. I was disappointed that they made it look like a "funsie" thing and didn't show any of the toughest obstacles.
Jennifer, Can you hear the pomp and circumstance music I'm playing for you? Yeah, another graduate!! Take a bow and then smile for the camera.
Roselyn, Welcome. I was following the meal plan in the beginning. You might want to try it in the beginning and see if it fits for you. If not you'll need to customize your meal planning to fit yourself. The recovery drink is not needed. Some people just drink Chocolate Milk instead. The recovery drink would not count as one of your meals.
EVERYONE, Now that we have a few graduates who might not make it here as often, I wanted to make sure I give a really big thanks to EVERYONE here for the motivation, tips, support and everything. I'm not good at conveying emotions so please know you have all been a great support system and words (at least not my words) can not convey how much it has meant to me.
