Hi Girls.

Well it's safe to say that I'm thoroughly exhausted right now. To bed at 2:30-3:00 and up at 7 does not work well for me! :eek: Had a blast last night though so it was worth it...I THINK! :p

I am surprised no one started the thread by now! Guess everyone's got a busy day ahead of them!

Rest day today and a nap in my future. Heading out shopping at noon with mom and Joey so gotta catch whatever zzzz's I can get before it's time to leave.

BBL if I don't pass out the minute I walk in the house! LOL

Morning girlies !

Well I was nearly done posting last night and must have hit <control> instead of <shift> and "poof" - I was disconnected from the internet ? ? ? :eek: :confused:

Long story cut short: No workout on Fri due to my planned lunch workout turned into meeting DS2 for sushi, no time after work since we left for the hockey game. Eats that night were srumptious, buffalo burger but the 34 oz Bud Light was too much. Scale definitely not cooperating sans Fri's workout and with the addition of the eats out that day.

Did my CR y'day (ooohhhh the stretching felt good and the position holds burned), CPR will be today and I'll skip the Fit Test tomorrow to insert PC + CA.

Wendy - I'll join you guys with P90X (I think - with some modifications on pull ups being done on my BB rack and will need to modify push ups). How's the recovery week going? Think you'll do it 6 times? ;) I see you are thinking of adding in your SS until P90X. I really want to do weights but have been so tired . . . Maybe my bod will adjust this week? :confused:

Diana - think you asked about the Fit Test? I did do it and it was like one of the reg workouts only you did the drills for a min at a time, counting your reps and then had a min (I think) in between. Was a sweaty mess when I was done. With the warm included I think it was about 25 min. Now on that one I did well with the switch kicks ! ;) So looks like you'll be caught up in the rotation by Tues also?

Jen - how is it now that you're done with week 2? Good to hear you are down in the tightness of clothes. That's about where I am. I believe both Wendy and I are higher in BF% too. Now from what I've read you don't lose muscle that quickly so I'm with you on the :confused: part of this. Thought this was a fat burning rotation?

Laura - know you won't be here this weekend but in case you get back here tomorrow - hope your Birthday weekend was a blast (though I have no doubts it is !) :D

Lori - hope your crazy work schedule goes OK for you this weekend. ITA with your assessment of the ex-co worker - you are not mean - just learning that some people only look out for themselves and you have been burned too many times. That is when you start looking out for yourself more and make better judgment calls on who you want to do favors for or who you let do favors for you. I call it "wisdom". :p Have you done another Insanity yet? :rolleyes:

Off to start the day here. Did get some stuff accomplished y'day around the house after our half day trek for Hot Wheels (went to a yummy meat market over there also) - yea me !
 
Hi ladies,

We never made it to the fair, but I'm not really that disappointed. We went to Jerod's football game last night and they won, it was a shut-out at 28-0. One of DH's friends game to watch the game and he couldn't believe how big the kids are. Jerod's team is all 7th and 8th graders. I might try to post some photo's to FB later today.

I'm almost to give up on moving the computer desk etc upstairs. Jerod's new room is nice and clean but there is just so much stuff in his old room. I really want to set up my new computer but had wanted to wait to move everything upstairs.

For some silly reason I decided to step on the scale this morning and am down 6#'s since starting Insanity. It's actually been 3 weeks of Insanity for me since I did week one twice in order to start the rotation with Jen and Jacque. I'm pretty happy about it too!!!:D

Today is PC and CA. I need to work on those level 1 drills so I don't dread them everytime. I might also do a total body w/o today, Muscle Max comes to mind. Not sure about tomorrow because I have an early conference call.

Wendy-Have fun shopping today. The only shopping I'll be doing is grocery shopping.

Good afternoon girls!

I've been cleaning the house a bit today, doing a MOUNTAIN of laundry, and I have a chicken cooking in the oven right now. So now I am ready for some football!! :D Patriots football, that is ;)

Feeling a tad under the weather fighting off this cold. It's fortunately not totally kicking in and I'm crediting Zicam for that, but I do feel run down and tired, have a headache and a mild sore throat. I'm hoping this rest day is enough to knock it out of me, but I'm secretly worried that a workout might have been a better idea for that. I don't know...we'll find out tomorrow.

Wendy: You party animal!! I remember you saying you were meeting BF at five, but did you guys go out or hang in?

Jacque: IIRC I started on Sept. 7, did five workouts that week, and then six last week. Today is Sunday the rest day. Am I figuring this wrong? I just ran out to look at the calendar in the garage and it's true, two weeks are complete. Tomorrow is that start of week three with the Fit Test. Where are you in the rotation?

Diana: Awesome job girlie!!! That is fantastic! I don't know what it is about this rotation, but the results people are getting are truly amazing. Imagine what you're going to do with month two :eek::eek::eek:

Hi Ladies,

I'm finally getting ready to head down for laundry....and yes..Insanity too!

I'm so disappointed, I can't find the paper with my measurements on them. I kept them in the drawer with my bodyfat measure. My guess is it fell behind the cabinet???? I may have to get DH to pull out the drawer and see if it's back there. I'm sure there is improvement especially since my weight is down. I've started a notebook with my weight and will add my measurements there too.

I have spin class this afternoon so have decided not to do a leg w/o today. I do have the Shaun T upper body disc so could give that a look/see.

Jacque-thanks! I'm actually feeling pretty good about it. I think you're a tad behind due to missing a couple of w/o's. I'm behind a bit too but will be back on schedule after today's w/o. I may skip the fit test tomorrow and start in with Tuesday's w/o. Maybe I can do the fit test tonight...

Jen-You are right on schedule with the rotation as written! I can honestly say these intense w/o's are wearing on me quite a bit. Only two more weeks then on to the next month. I'm hanging in as I am seeing such good results. I haven't taken my bodyfat but can use the measurement they took for the spin class.

Yesterday was bit of a long day but today shouldn't be quit as bad. I came in at 11 and I am going home soon. Hoping to tackle a workout (INSANITY style!) or I may wait until after dinner b/c I don't have to be back here until 1:30'ish:confused: Really hoping my flight is early!

Wendy** I noticed on FBlast night that you were up to no good;) I could have easily had a couple of drinks last night but it wasn't in the cards...can't drink and work...or CAN I?:D Slurd speech may give me away. Hope you have a fun day of shopping.

Jacque** So the lady with the "posting" tips don't even use them herself:eek: hehe! I sooo hate it when that happens and of course its only on DH's laptop b/c the mouse pad is super sensitive...just like a women:p Im going to do the first workout of Insanity today, I think. I need to gear myself up for it!!

Diana** Woo Hoo! Thats awesome!!!! Are you following the rotation or just doing whatever , whenever?

Jen** Enjoy your rest day even though its not for a good reason. I had to wash DS's comforter today cause the dog had to get up there and make the comforter smelll...really..really..BAD! It was expensive and I should have had it dry cleaned by rights but I threw it in the wash and hoped for the best..

So I have decided to chuck out the money for a Garmin watch:) My MIL is in the city and she can pick one up at Cosco. They are on sale for $179. I like knowing how fast I am going and how far:D 4 weeks from today my race will be over and done with and I will be hobbling up and down the steps for 3 days after...unless I do more insanity and it whips me into kick arse shape???

Got my CPR done, lazed a bit reading a book, sealed the grout from an outside table that I grouted y'day and am heading out to Costco quickly since I forgot my berries the other day ! :confused:

Diana - hope you find your measurements to add some additional Yippee to the weight loss ! Will be interested to see if you are dropping BF since the rest of us don't seem to be? Did you end up doing the fit test?

Jen - you are the one who is on track here. I missed Wed & Fri so no rest day for me today and I'll not be doing the fit test as I had planned but PC+abs instead tomorrow. Hope your rest day helped the cold - perhaps the screaming and yelling for the Pats scared it away? :eek:

Lori - LOL - I have never had my internet get disconnected like that ! I usually do the copy & paste for long posts or catch up. You got me though !;) Did you tackle Insanity workout # 2 yet? I do think a Garmin would be perfect for you. Sounds like a good deal there.

Wendy - hope your having fun !

Hi Ladies,

Spin class was pretty good today. The spin segment was only 40 minutes long, I was hoping for an hour. We spent about 15 minutes going over bike setup...then we did anaerobic thresh hold testing today. I'm really looking forward to the true spinning, less instruction..should happen next week. My quads were on fire during the class by hammies are tight now.

As far as tomorrow goes, if I get up a little early then I'll do Tuesday's w/o and skip the fit test. If I get up a little late I should have time to do the fit test, something is better than nothing. If I didn't have this stinkin' early meeting on Monday's!:mad:

Well I went all out and did weight, measurements and bodyfat today. I have it all written in a notebook, also logged it into the workout manager, fitday pc, and weight watchers site. I should be covered now!

Lori-I am following the Insanity rotation pretty close. I'm also doing WW again, but haven't changed my diet much at all. I am getting in a ton of water which I think is helping! I noticed on fitday that I wasn't getting in enough calories and WW showed that too. I've really completed 3 weeks of the rotation, but did week 1 twice. Jacque, Jen and I are starting week 3 tomorrow.

Jacque-Well I did find what I think is my latest measurements, but there isn't a date on it:mad: At least I have it in a notebook now.

I still have a lot to get done tonight, laundry, make my food for the week, help Jerod with that dreadful room etc.
