Incorporating Barre

How do you incorporate barre into your weekly workouts? Do you add it in addition to your rotation, in place of a strength training day, how?

Thanks for any suggestions!
 
I do not follow any strict rotations or anything, so I just do barre when 1. I feel like some barre 2. when my shoulder needs some barre - I find the different planes of movement exceptionally beneficial for my shoulder or 3. on week 2 for example (as I mostly do one Leg day a week) I will do barre rather than weights for Legs or barre and then add on some heavy one set of weights or 4. I'll add a Leah Sarago short download to my workout if I feel that part of my body is seeming out of balance or needs some barre conditioning.
That's mostly how I like barre type workouts currently. Looking forward to see how some Cathletes like to do it! :)
 
I usually do 2 leg workouts a week. Like Elsie, I like to use barre on one of those 2 days with the other day being heavier weight work. If I'm doing a rotation which has 2 weight workouts per week, I try to add on a short barre segment at some point during the week. I think barre is a great complement to leg weight training. It works the legs in a totally different way.
