In the market for a new dvd player

Gayle's post made me realize that the forums are a great place to ask this question also!
I am planning to convert my grown son's old bedroom into my new workout room. My brother just gave me their old tv and my parents offered to buy a new dvd player for my upcoming b-day....yeah!
Advice please?

Perfect time for a 5-disc player!

I'd suggest getting a Sony or other top-end 5-disc player, so that you can mish-mosh to your heart's content. I got my Sony 5-disker several years ago (I think back in December 2002), and it totally revolutionized my workout program as well as my cardiovascular endurance. I don't know what Sony's current model is these days, but I'd bet you can find a multi-disc changer for a very reasonable price.

My next DVD player is going to be a Play Station 3, because not only can I play games, but I can also play Blu-Ray HD DVDs it. Supposedly you can also connect to the internet to download updates so it should have the latest technology for some time.

I agree with A-Jock about the Sony 5 disc DVD player. They are the BEST!! I got one a couple of years ago and have used it for many mish moshes. Very nice when you are using multiple workouts...
