I am a little confused...During the basic step portions i maintain a HR of 135-141 which is about 70% MHR after a blast...During the Blasts where should my HR be 85% which is 158 BPM or higher...Cathe you are so much more conditioned then me, you seem to talk pretty much through all of the blasts, except for a few spots when they finally catch up to you. I am trying to train properly...Where should my HR be, at 85%, or higher? On the really tough blasts my HR can go as high as 170+( My MHR is 189) I am new to this type of workout and I do follow your cues to modify when needed. Could you please give me a better understanding of where I should be training at during those blasts.
