IMAX 3/Body Max 2 - WOW!

I have owned both of these workouts for a couple of years now, and have been too "scared" to try them. Well, I did Imax 3 on Thursday and Body Max 2 on Friday - I am in love!!! I didn't even have to modify too much, only the really intensly high impact - jump tucks, exploding jumping jacks, etc. I couldn't get through all of Body max 2 - after doing both the step combos and the circuit - my body was so exhausted I wanted to throw up, so I thought I better not push it :) Anyway, just wanted to share, I had no idea what my body was capable of - and I still have about 95 lbs to lose!

Have a great day!

FABULOUS Kirsten!!! FABULOUS!!! (big round of applause). Don't you feel like a million bucks now?

I love those two workouts. They're the perfect blend of fun and intensity.

Excellent job on modifying when you needed to. It's always nice to know that you have room to grow with a workout. You'll get great use out of them for years to come, especially when you start doing the premixes.

Cheers!

Kirsten, CONGRATULATIONS! Isn't it great to find out you've underestimated yourself? WooHoo and high 5's to you!

I did Imax 3 yesterday...it is my very favorite of the Imax's! I'll bet you'll be pulling it out more often! Also, check out the premixes on BM2. They are really good! Sometimes I do the whole thing, sometimes the premixes and sometimes bits and pieces of it to tack on to other workouts. It's very versatile!

Congratulations ! Those are two of my "go to" workouts. They seem to take it all out of you by the end, but they leave you feeling a "good" exhausted !

ITA about the premixes too ! They work very well when you need a hard workout but don't have alot of time. You have still accomplished alot with any of them.

Thanks everyone!!

Sandra, I totally feel like a million bucks! It is so cool to see/feel my strength improve! I can even walk up the hill by my house when walking my pups with minimal effort!

Jo, it is totally great when I underestimate myself! I actually get an adrenaline rush, so much so, I can't contain myself and I throw my arms up in that Yay me! motion!

I know what you mean, Jacque, about the "good" exhausted - even though I have literally worked myself to the "max" (hehe) I have plenty of energy to get me through the busy days at work, and my busy evenings! I am so relieved I am one of those people who love to exercise and don't have that whole demon to conquer! It really does make a difference in how you feel and even how you interact with the world around you. If you feel good, it's sometimes easier to deal with the crappy stuff life throws at us!

These two workouts are my "rotation" for the month of June, though I may change it up a bit as the month progresses - thanks all for the ideas about the premixes! I always forget about those!

Happy Stepping!
