I'm talking green beans people!

I hope you like garlic!
2lb of green beans***
1 cup of water
1 tsp. salt
1/4 cup of butter
3 to 4 cloves of garlic press
1/4 tsp lemon pepper
1/4 cup parsly***

Bring water with salt to a boil add beans cover and cook medium heat.
Cook to your likeness for me it 20 to 25 minutes.
Drain beans set to side.
Melt butter in bean pot at medium heat.
Add garlic and lemon pepper and saute for 1 to 2 minutes.(be careful not to burn garlic)
Add green beans back to pot and saute for 5 minutes.
***Sprinkle with parsley( if you want)
*** I use frozen GB (Bird Eye)when fresh beans are to expensive and ugly.
***Bird Eye GB has recipe on their package similar to this except it call for olive oil and fresh basil.

My DH and I used to live on a very similar salad: we slice up roughly equal parts of cuke and red onion, pour in red wine vinegar and some sugar (never said it was clean, but I have found stevia didn't help much, nor did splenda! - but splenda does fizz up kinda cool) and salt and pepper.

There are several varieties of this, many of which use yogurt as well, and dill, etc. LOL, I cannot imagine Kathryn eating mayo!!! :p

Try tuna salad in the boat. :9

Mediterranean dishes and tabbouleh will use cucumbers, too. :9 :9 :9 I love them!!!

I used to...and I still do (Veganaise!)

I forgot all about tabouleh--great idea (and very tasty)! It can also be made using quinoa as the grain.

Yep, you can ship to me as well.

One way is to add:
new potatoes and just a few strips of bacon. (okay I am from the south :D)

Another way is:
add lemon juice and honey, toss this mixture in the green beans. Add seasame seeds. Sooo good. And good for yer as I tell me kids.
