Hi Cathe,

I've been working out with you on FIT TV and I want to buy your videos. I'm intermediate level. I'm not overwieght, but would like to firm up some more and loose a little cellulite. What video would you recommend starting with. There's so many that it can be overwhelming.

Thanks,

Livi

Hi, not Cathe here, but here is my suggestion. If you like some of her workouts on FitTv then try buying her full versions of the workouts. There is a lot more to her workouts on the full version, plus some of them come with two workouts on one dvd.

Not Cahte either, but I know how overwhelming it can be. When I first "discovered" Cathe of FitTV I went crazy trying to figure out which DVDs to purchase. If you like step then LoMax is a nice one for an intermediate exerciser. You can make the workout as easy or as intense as you want it to be. Pretty much all of her DVD's can be modified to fit your exercise limitations. She is great at showing modifications throughout her workouts. I started with LoMax and went from there.

Just be aware, that once you buy your first DVD, you will be hooked and become a DVD buying junkie ;)

Keep up the great work,
Jenn

Hi Jenn,

Just for info my first order included LoMax, MuscleMax and CoreMax. I believe by starting with sections or premixes of LoMax or the step portion only it would be appropriate for intermediate (you can also make any of the moves in LM more or less intense); using lighter weights in MuscleMax and/or shorter premixes; and just doing what you can out of CoreMax - these can be adapted up or down in intensity and you wouldn't be bored with them when your fitness level (strength and endurance) increase. That's what I did and I can say now that I consider myself back to advanced level, these still give me a kick butt workout.

HTH and makes sense. I know others will come to your aide and I wish you lots of fun with whatever workouts you choose - you'll love them all.:)

Hi, Livi!

After my second pregnancy...which resulted in a c-section, I had a dear time trying to get back into Cathe because my fitness level dropped significantly. What I found worked for me was to use the 2 tapes that Cathe developed for beginners and intermediates...namely, Basic Step + Body Fusion and High Step Circuit.

I ADORE the Body Fusion workout...you do three step combos with three weight combos...like a circuit. You are able to do cardio for 8-10 minutes and then you get a "break" to work weights. This helped to get my cardio endurance up drastically! OH AND THE FUN YOU WILL HAVE!!!

The High step Circuit is similar and I love it also. The great thing about these videos is that even once you feel that you have reached the "advanced" level, DON'T stop using them...because they are super easy to modify & you will love the challenge!

Keep up the good work!!! Denise ;-)
