Well, not in the biological sense...Ever since my back injury, when I went from a male dominated field (landscaping), to a female dominated field (office clerk). I've spent most of my time around women..at first the transition was a little awkward, but I have no complaints.
I wanted to touch briefly on the situation involving Dave and his decision to leave the boards because of the oversight. I hope this wasn't the sole reason for his departure, because he'd be making a big mistake. I once took my wife to a baseball game and it was dubbed a "Businessman's special"..there were lots of women in attendance as well. My wife's reaction..phoney disgust...she joked that her admittance should be free...
Swanson makes HungryMan Dinners...I've seen women eat them as well.
I read the statement..it never bothered me in the slightest, simply because I know the workouts are effective, regardless of gender. When I'm spent, mentally and physically after KP and C or Kick Max, I never once thought how I'd feel if I were a woman.
Perhaps I'd have had an issue had SNM came out and said...men should not attempt these workouts. I couldn't say for sure.
I get a lot of down time in the winter months and I get to play on the computer at work when we're slow, so I enjoy being a member of message boards, and have cultivated friendships with women on these boards that I am most pleased about.
If someone personally insults me, my family, then there's grounds for departure..I left a club that I was a board leader for for this very reason.
A generalization, especially one that was corrected, standing on its own, would not be enough to make me stop doing something I enjoy. It sure sounds like Dave was highly regarded here, which would make me think he felt the same.
Don't give up something that's a part of you over something that's just not worth it..mistakes happen.
