I'm Going to be an Auntie Again!!

My little brother called today to tell me he and his DW are expecting baby number 1!! I am SOOOO excited. This will make me an aunt three times over. It's such a blessing to be "auntie."

I can't believe my dopey little brother is a grown-up and almost a dad! I'm so proud of him though. After a rough start into adulthood he has, in the last 5 years or so, kicked drugs (mostly weed) and alcohol, married a wonderful woman, landed a fantastic job and lost almost 200 pounds. Now he's going to be a dad! Woo-hoo!

Congratulations Sparrow! I think your brother and SIL are very lucky to have you as an aunt for their children . It's really wonderful how you take a part in their lives. I have 4 nephews and a niece on my side and 3 nephews on DH's side and we love them all to pieces. Have fun, Auntie! Like you, DH and I do not have children of our own so we parent vicariously through our siblings--LOL:7 .

It's wonderful how your little brother has taken charge of his life. My congratulations to him as well.

That is so awesome! It is so inpiring whe people are able to pull thier lives together. I know how proud you must be of your bro. And, being an aunt is so fun!!! You get all the fun of spoiling and none of the work!
