I'm excited, yet I'm sad

I just got Core Max today. But I also had to order a new stability ball (mine's in the basement & has been through a rather unpleasant sewage backup--'nuff said) & a 10 lb med ball (the only one I have is 20 lbs & I'm thinking I might need something less for this workout) so I can't do it yet. It makes me crazy to have a new Cathe DVD sitting on my shelf that I can't use. x(

Do the first segment. It may seem easy, but the next day I had awful DOMS, letting me know that it had worked. It's my favorite segment of the three.

Thanks for sharing! I just finished the first segment of Coremax and posted on the Hardcore Rotation Check-in thread that it wasn't all that challenging (except that by the time I got to the planks at the end my core and legs were starting to call it quits!) and now, after reading your post, I've learned that I have "something" to look forward to tomorrow!

Cool! I love it! I'm glad I gave it my all.

I did the third segment of Coremax the other night with an 8 lb medicine ball, and there's one exercise where you sit up, holding the ball at chest level, almost in a V, and the pull your legs in and out. Well, I'm glad nobody was watching, because I kept falling over backwards!:+

re: sewer backup

We had this issue, found out that our washer drain in the basement was the lowest drain on the street. The sewage for the street backed into our cellar via this drain.

I put in a check valve for all my basement drains to prevent it from happenning again.

Next time it will be one of the neighbors....

part of it does not require a ball...give that part a try. Good luck, the fit tv version kicked my but...it was very challenging.
