If you only workout to Cathe, how do you keep challenged?

I know a lot of you do other things, but I'm wondering how you vary Cathe's workouts enough to keep your body busy, especially when you have a limited number. I don't think my DVD player programs either. Would it be good to do premixes or what do you all suggest? Thanks!

Debbie, now sit down for a moment. I'm going to tell you something. YOU MUST TRY THE MISH-MOSH.... it's definitely the way to go. The premixes are good, yes, but mixing it up with other DVDs just adds that extra ooh-la-la. My DVD player doesn't program, but it takes but a moment to switch disks.

oooh Shelley sounds great. I just never seem to have the right DVDs to make the mish moshes work. Right now I have Imax2/C&W, Bootcamp/ME, Imax 3, Terminator, and waiting on KPC (Grrr). What can I mish mosh w/ these?

I only use Cathe's workouts since maybe almost a year now and I am adding to my collection. I don't have them all, but I am getting close. I still have workouts I haven't even done yet.
I just did some workouts I haven't done in quite a while and all those premixes.........
I don't think my body will ever get bored, there are just too many options out there with Cathe's workouts.

I agree with Shelley about the mish-mosh idea. I've not done any mish-moshes personally, because I fear they will kill me. Well, I'm just afraid of A-Jock's mish-moshes really. You can mish-mosh any way you want. And pre-mixes are great for variation too. But you can just use your handy DVD remote and come up with your own mixes. Gotta love those DVDs!
 
Debbie - WAIT! Before you do a mish-mosh let me warn you. Shelley suggested one and as soon as I just HEARD it, my eardrum burst and I was bedridden for days. True story. :p

OK, OK, it was just a funny coincidence!

I haven't had the guts to try a mish-mosh in the past because it looks so super intense and I don't have a multi-disk player but I really do think I'll try it anyway. It looks like fun!!

can you guys help me clear something up? Is the premix when you just push play and do the whole workout from warmup to stretch? I am kinda confused....

Terri, the premixes are a separate group of features in the DVD. You see these starting in the Intensity series. On the menu screen, just scroll down to "premixes" and select it.

Also, I work out MOSTLY to Cathe. I get a lot of ideas on what kinds of rotations I want to do through the rotations forum. I strength train most of the time, for about 2-3 months, after which I switch focus. So for weeks at a time, I'm using only a bunch of Cathe's workouts, and after that, I pick another bunch. This is the good thing about having almost all her DVD's. I can never do A-Jock's mish-moshes unless I have a death wish:) but I do look at them to see what my knees can and can't handle and get ideas there as well.
