I have been a lurker for quite a while and recently started posting but never introduced myself. You all must be saying, who is this goldenpath chick?
All my life I was fairly thin and did not start gaining weight until after my second child. My husband kept telling me for years that I should exercise otherwise I would gain weight and not be healthy. I thought he was CRAZY. I did not think I would ever gain a pound. I always ate want I wanted, when I wanted and never had any problems. One day I discovered that I gained weight and that I really needed to exercise and eat healthy. The weight just crepted up on me. One day it was not there and the next day, bang it was all there.
I decided to purchase the Transfirmer from The Firm. I have been doing that and felt great. While I was doing the firm, I started to have knee pains and thought it had something to do with all the lunging and stepping. I therefore purchased Turbo Jam for the extra cardio. Therefore, I was doing The Firm and Turbo Jam.
The new firms that came out after the Transfirmer, I thought were not very challenging. I then discovered Cathe and bought her last series and pre-ordered the current series. I am still no pro and consider Cathe very advanced but have been really enjoying the challenge. I also love reading these boards.
During the summer, I did not do much exercise besides walking, swimming and treadmill. I recently purchased a treadmill (woo hoo) Now that September hit, I am back to my regular routine. I am currently doing Cathe videos, Turbo Jam, the Firm along with the treadmill. I can’t wait to receive the new series.
