Hi Cathe!! Congratulations on your new baby. I have to tell you that I think you are ssooooo awesome!! Love your videos. I wish that I could look just like you. You are so fit! Anyways, after studying and practicing your videos over and over. I am also a fitness instructor, so I try to constantly come up with new stuff for my classes. (Videos, workshops, turnstep, and other instructors' classes) I usually introduce a little bit at a time when it comes to rythmic stuff. Totally love your videos I am working towards getting them all, $$$. Anyways, I just kinda noticed that it appears that you might have had knee surgery and if you don't mind talking about it, I was curious what happened? I teach at several clubs: Monday night kickboxing, Tuesday night Step then Yoga, Wednesday night Step, Thursday night Step then Aqua-X; and Senior Fitness Monday & Weds 10am where I work full-time for senior housing. Your knee got me wondering if it was from overuse or an accident. I was taught by my AFAA Master instructor to never do back to back classes and then another veteran instructor said no more than 3 step classes per week. I love step. It is absolutely my favorite and I enjoy mixing the other classes in my schedule. I have no physical problems right now and have learned when to listen to my body if I need a break. Also...Where can I learn more about your nutrition plan? Thank you so much in advance. Keep up the awesome work!! Take Care, Kim from Maine :)

If you don't mind me poking my nose in here, I believe I recall reading that she had an acl reconstruction due to a skiing injury (I THINK). ;-) Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I think you're right - I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Cathe had a skiing accident that led to surgery. Can't remember where exactly, but it was probably here someplace.

Kim,
Im just butting in here because I asked the same question several months ago. Im a recovering knee injury patient and was curious after seeing closeups of Cathe's knee scar in assorted videos.
She replied that she had an ACL reconstruction surgery following a nasty ski accident.
So, even if she doesn't reply to this, you now know that even the demi-goddesses in the Fitness World can be sidelined from time to time<VBG>
