If you can't make a good friend's wedding......

Cool, thanks. So my next question........I work with the guy. Should I send it to his house or just hand deliver? I'm not very comfortable just handing it to him I think. It would embarass both of us.

I believe the proper etiquette on wedding gift giving is that you should always mail the gift to the recipient, even if you see them every day or just live down the street or whatever. You're actually not even supposed to bring gifts to the actual wedding, but everyone does it anyway - so just do what works best for you. :)

I got them 2 tickets to Spamalot, & another woman I work with is gonna give them a $100 gift certificate to a restaurant near the Schubert, so that way they basically get a great night out for almost nothing. Cool huh?

ETA: pretty easy to stick in the mail, right? :p

LOL! I'd BETTER be invited to your wedding! Not to mention every single other woman on this forum..........}(

Great gift, especially since you aren't even going to the wedding. I recently bought a pair of tickets to Spamalot, and man, those premium seating prices were through the roof! I got forth row center, though, so hopefully it was worth it! It's supposed to be great; I'm sure your friends will love your gift.

I'd give the gift before the wedding, by the way.
