If I have to cancel

Maybe you should contact them and ask, because the original annoucement says you have to put down a $100 NONREFUNDABLE deposit. SNM then charged the balance of the RT fee, or another $179 a few days ago (at least I think they did). So it SOUNDS like you would lose your $100 deposit, but could probably get a refund of the balance. But I'm just gong off of what the boards say. Check with someone who knows - like Nancy. Sorry you have to cancel.

That's my understanding too Lorrie. You pay $100 nonrefundable depoist initially. I assume that means you would get the second installment back as your refund. But not sure.

Also sorry that you may have to cancel :(

Oh, good!! It seems like there have been a lot of cancellations this year. Maybe I just never knew how many there were in the past.

I cancelled in june.

Hi,
I read in the hotel message if you cancelled your Cathe trip to let the co-ordinators know. My name is Phyllis Marchand, I cancelled my road trip in June due to a torn ACL in my right knee, doctor said when he was fixing my three torn meniscusses (sp) that my ACL is torn 85%. He did not fix it during surgery because I did not want to be out of work longer than 4 weeks and apparently this takes about 3-4 months with intensive physical therapy to heal. Off topic, sorry, I wish he would have told me I wouldn't be able to do step aerobics, kickboxing only things like my elliptical, some toning but I have to be very careful because my knee gives out and that hurts like I can't describe. So I cancelled my road trip because I really want to exercise with Cathe and friends and know that I won't be able, so now I want to know if I should cancel my reservation at the hotel I booked, the first one with the double beds. Please advise me what I should do. Thanks in advance, for anyone's help with this and sorry for the long, long explanation.
Phylly

I remember reading somewhere that the $100 deposit is non-refundable but you may be able to get back the other $179 (if you've already been charged). But I'm so glad you're going to make it instead!

Phylly,
So sorry to hear about your ACL! I went through surgery and rehab three years ago for a torn ACL and meniscus, too. It does take a few months to feel up to speed again but it's so worth the time and effort to be able to do the things you love (like workouts, running, etc). I hope all goes well and for you and you're on the mend soon!
